@@ericnichols9275I still rock the 887… very good overall drill. Not too strong not too weak…. I mostly like Dewalts design/ergonomics on their impacts despite Milwaukees Gen 4 impact driver being absurdly better… that and Dewalt has a better lineup of batteries compared to Milwaukee… I’m so glad we have two great companies to choose from I swear by Dewalt however 🍺
@@carlosf9278my stupid 887 took a shit on me. Picked up the new version last night. Good deal at lowes two 5ah batteries and a charger for 299 gets you two bare tools for free.
They should have just made the light a full diffused ring like the skil and covered the metal with a black rubber over mold like the new hydraulic. Best looking impact now. So sick. Dewalt knocked it out of the park with these new models.
I wish DeWalt would make a 12v Xtreme version of the 850 which would be even more compact and lighter than the 850. We would love it in Aviation maintenance.
It all depends on your applications. I personally have the 850 and I love it. It's very small yet stronger or on par with bigger impacts. I bought it mainly because of the size. You can clearly see that the 860 is bigger, probably also heavier. If you don't mind it and prefer pure efficiency then you should wait for the 860. It looks fire compared to already very good 850. Don't know anything about the price - this could also be a thing to be considered.
The 860 is basically an impact wrench with the impact driver tool holder. I prefer the compact size and light weight of the 850. I wonder what would the price difference be. The 860 looks sick but also has more limited use in tight spaces. I use the 850 daily and I've never felt a lack of power.
Да ...уж ..., будет оснастку " разлохмачивать " , как и Милка .... ( тело самореза - в "зюзю", шляпа - по обьекту - в свободный полёт , бита - без шлицов ....)
Finally a competition with milwaukee on 1/4 inch impacts. Now dewalt NEEDS to simplify there annoying line up. To much going on. They got 20v max, xr, xr compact, extreme compact 12v, atomic compact 20v. Omfg it's to much
Only sped the reload. We’re a dewalt official retailer we couldn’t legally show a fake comparison. I’ll refilm later this week with a clock or similar in shot for the pessimists.
Did anyone notice that the only bit sped up was the reload and not any of the driving. Did anyone notice that there's a longer-form version of this video that includes a physical stopwatch to show that there's no funny business or that we're a Dewalt retailer and would gain nothing by showing a misleading video?
Not buying another one. Got the m12, 850, whatever driver it is that they put a 3/8 anvil on, and whatever dewalt one it is that smokes on the first day you use it out of the box but just keeps on going. (887 I think)
Bro.. why make the 850 so compact if u gonna ditch it? Im using 850 insted of 860. Do i need the power for those bolts right there.. i got the dcf922. I buy 922 and 850 for compact
I have the 850 and and the M18 gen 4 and to be honest the M18 was faster but in alot of applications not that much, this new 860 trounced the 850 2.5 times faster now I'm kicking myself because I bought the M18 2 months ago 😂😂
Ya this is going to destroy Milwaukee because the 850 and 845 were getting beat by a few seconds, this dude ran multiple fasteners in the same time the 850 did one
Are you saying when you push harder on a screw it negates the pitch on the thread or the rpm’s and just drives it in like a nail? Or does it require a bit more pressure because the higher torque without firmly held against screw head can cam out?
I just recently got the 850, I chose it specifically over the 845 as when I tested them they were pretty much indistinguishable in performance but the 850 felt better and is much smaller than anything else out there- this 860 seems to be just a bit larger, with most of the size difference being in the balls 😅
It might be important to note that these drivers(across basically all brands) tend to actually meet or exceed their rated output within the first 5 seconds- the opposite compared to ratings for things 1/2-3/4-1” etc.
This is the difference in a high torque/ driving into hardwood application with the small 1.7Ah battery. I showed in the longer video with the larger 5Ah powerstack the 850 was closer to half the speed of the 860 in the same application.
For fuck sakes I just got the 850 a few months ago😅
me2
Haha bro fr they do that shit on purpose 🤣🤣🤣
I literally just bought one, went to UA-cam to bask in glory watching reviews of my shiny new tool just to see this. Ffs
Facts
It’s a new tool to add to the collection. You should be pumped. You could always dump yours on marketplace.
Just got the 850 the new 860 is rocking
Yeh, but that 850 can fit anyware lol
Now Dewalt needs to finally purge their impact driver lineup.
Like RETIRE the 887
Retire EVERYTHING except the 850...

You are correct DeWalt actually is reducing the number of impacts they offer after some models finish their run cycle.
I mostly have milwaukee tools, but I love the compact design of the 850! With small bits, it can go anywhere.

I picked the 850 because of the smaller headsize. Batteries make the difference for duration.
Damn, should I hold off then? I was going to buy the 850 soon. Might just wait for the 860 now

850 ~ 860 - same price 🙂, but 860 on 220 gr weight more 🤕 ( как-то так .. по ТТХ ) Good luck !
Supposed to get mine on Monday or Tuesday, I can't wait !!!!!
Oh this ones going to really nice! 😈
Grrrr I can see that want grunt in your eyes , it's in me too
Looking like it's gonna be a great one
Tbh, I'd still buy the 850 for its light weight and compactness. I'm not driving 2ft lag bolts all day anyway.
You need to use the same kind XR like
20V MAX XR Cordless Impact Driver, the new DCF860 Looks little bigger compared to DCF850 maybe I'm wrong
As an electrician, i use the 850 for trim out.
Damnit I should've have waited for the 860, the 850 is nice though
I would rather convert a high powered drill into a screwdriver than hearing that hammer all day.
Dewalt actually makes a screwdriver it doesn't drill or impact.
Well, I was considering the DCF850 to replace my DCF787, but maybe not...
860 просто зверь

I have Milwaukee Gen 4 FUEL and I still happy with it

WHEN IS IT going TO HIT THE STATES
You'll have tocheck with a local Dewalt Distributor but cant be far off, lands here in Australia in the next few weeks.
i’m excited for the 860. but you sped the video of it up to seem like it could sink 3 lags in the time it took the 850 to do 1. why. ???!!!

Put your back into it lad, you ain't even trying on the bottom screen!
The DCF860 has a bigger hammer they don't really compare. It's like a 200-pound fighter taking on a 100-pound fighter.
Bugger, another one i will have to buy lol
look at how he is holding each driver.
Clearly the 850 in speed 1 or 2. They are faster then that
Both on the small powerstack wait til you see it with larger battery.
Okay …. Okay …. Okayyyy I can smell what’s cooking !
I think the 850 will be better for smaller fasteners. too much torque can be a disadvantage.

ทำไมคุณไม่ออกแรงกดตัว850??
TTC did a review on it. 860 is really hitting at 6k IPM not 4500 lol.
Only in reverse tho
Looks like dewalt might of did it finally
Looks like Dewalt turned the speed up to 'premium' on this one! 💨 Can it also fetch me a coffee though? 🤔☕
Compare it to the Milwaukee, please.
You don't gotta ask bro, the tests will come, we all know it

How did you get this already?!
We’re a dewalt retailer and It’s coming soon. Dewalt sent us a sample.
They have a hydraulic model in early development stages. It's a thousand times quieter
There’s 86 other ones?

Why is it bigger?

This might actually be the best overall impact they have. Like actually

Can the 850 fit in my wallet even unfolded???

205nm compared to 282nm? Not close at all. Even smashes the Gen 4 Milwaukee which is the current best impact in the market.

You should never compare an atomic to an XR, it's ridiculous
They should abandon the yellow and get a new colour and logo
