If im remembering the true blessings of asaph she has is an AoE boost for all ranged units whether its archers up to artillery thats likely why Khalida was picked.
Blessing of Asaph gives +25 reload skill and 20% missile damage as well as armour piercing damage to those around Khali, is probably why. Add in her poison and you can also slow the units and give them debuffs. I also would assume the 2 necrotects are to heal whichever Ushabti are forced into melee
I did this doomstack once with Khalida, but instead of casket there was a bone giant and there also was 3 units of halberd necropolis knights. I don't remember me ever loosing a single unit with that army.
If you turn the volume down, watch at 2x speed and put Benny Hills music in background this is actually quite funny how dwarves struggle to run at statues
It is often wise to use two or more stacks together. In this case the units in the second stack could have been used to protect the casket of souls from a strategic location near an edge and the others would have been free to be more mobile.
For some reason I just love the lore of Tomb Kings even though they're not the best at all. Ancient Egypt is cool for me, even if they're all dead. I'm late to the party I know, but I'm watching all your TK doom stacks to get an idea of how to play them as I'm also newish to this game and High Elves got a bit boring - still fun but not as challenging. Khalida gives her entire army poison. I assume this also works for the Ushabti ranged attack, slowing enemies on approach. That's probably why they chose to do it with this lord.

This actually reminds me of a battle I had happen to me 2 days ago when I was playing as Tomb Kings with a doomstack of Hierotitans and a group of like 4 full army of dwarves went up against it only to be absolutely stomped by the titans badly, it was pretty epic and awesome to say the least. XD

depends on the army. You can always send in a lord later to make use of buffs at first. This particular fight maybe not, since she needed to act to slow down the army at first and what not.
With khalida all units have poison attack With prepared lord you have bonus attack and ammunition and with his cat mount you have siege attacker (with all good gear) so you can have one more ubow instead casket and instead one necro. put prince + special banners or followers for range units With all of those you can have 8.5/10 or 9/10 with this army.
Would be better but not entirely ideal they are still a fair bit slower than the rest of the army and are not going to survive being left behind. Best bet is probably a war sphinx its fast, flexible, can distract the enemy well if needed and is quite bulky.
one large drawback of construct doomstacks is their lack of chaff to trigger this healing and ushabti summoning waagh thingy that tomb kings have. It may be worth it sometimes to have one skeleton unit with your army just to sacrifice it and get some healing. Although Arkhan with his summon item can get around it.
you can go into melee with your lord and heroes against their weak melee units like miners/ dwarf warriors, then cast as other close in and run away. Mostly, casting on 1 damaged unit feels like huge waste.
I suggest using unlimited regiments of renown if you like ushabti great bows because the regiment of renown version has a unique cluster bombardment effect making their doomstack invincible against all

Legend barely ever plays SFO, and has said a few times that he wouldn't want to give out bad advice, because of that. It's why we get so few 20 turn guides; CA will move a settlement a half-inch, which completely changes the order in which you can do things and how the AI will react. I think that the reason that there isn't a lot of content is because the modders change things, all the time, turning a youtuber's content into something that will kill your campaign.

Honestly, I expected this to perform better. It is super micro intensive. I think by the time you get to the point you can spam great bows you can make an army that wouldn't need to micro so much. But, there were also a lot of slayers lol.
I think it only required so much micro because of the amount of armies needing to be fought. vs 1 or 2 armies you can easily leave a few to tank. Probably why they have 2 necrotets (for healing rather than buff) when some need to be forced into melee.

I was gonna do this with the herald that gives them frenzy, a normal lord on mount, 2 bone giants, one necrotect, a wizard, and one or two Tomb scorpions for a front line
You don't need a seige unit in a ushabti stack, they take walls down much quicker. It may not be mentioned in the unit desc. but they destroy towers, gates and walls in SECONDS FLAT with 100% accuracy.

I've had it aswell. It is almost always tied to the video being recently uploaded. If you check the video a few min later its usually fine. At least on my end that has been the case.
This is missing the herald that gives the Ushabti Hawkish Precision. I also like Lamizzash more than Khalida as a lord for this - makes the Ushabti way more effective in close combat which is good when you run out of ammo. You lose out on the poison but it ain't worth it imo.
yea ... i love TK and played khalida recently , making a box of ushabti around her is much more efficient she bufs damage AND reload skill, enemies also clumpup more since your army takes little space , netting bigger packs and when you net slayers in front slower units catch up causing more overcrowding and less overkill / missed shots + you have time to cast venom staff poisoning said pack giving even more time to fire = less skirmishing , i killed 4 stacks of dwarves+ t5 garrison without this much trouble
The Rite gives you a special Necrotect that has only one hero action (occupy ruins) and it uses the Necrotect hero cap without adding to it. It'd be kinda busted if you could recruit more regular Necrotects via this rite.
Treacheros trait(+5 melee atac and deff for scorpions) for heroes is bugged, i tried to make a scorpion doomstack but it dont add up, i hope they fix this bug.
Siege Attacker is an inherent trait on some units that allows an army to attack a walled settlement straight away. Ushabti with Great Bows don't have the trait, so without a Siege Attacker in your army, you have to waste a turn building a ram you're not going to use. Look for the icon at the bottom of the unit card that has a door with a fireball/explosion on it.
Unless something has changed, I don’t see how he was he able to recruit so many bows. You need a tier 4 building. I’m only seeing 6 provinces owned, max.

I think if a hero is not immortal, they are deleted when you disband them. So they can’t continue providing bonuses while benched. I’m pretty sure that’s the case with all races. That said, just the lords alone are plenty for spamming jars. Once I was able to recruit lords at rank 5, I was getting one almost every turn. That’s 6 extra jars per turn; that’s just silly. Tomb kings are the only race I’ve played so far that I was able to have every hero and lord loaded with items, and still had tons of jars to spare.

More ammo is good as it effectively increases your balance of power.

Lore wise most slayers are dwarves who shamed themselves by running from the field of battle.
Not every casualty means "dead." Maybe they took a great bow arrow in the ass and quit fighting.
Beat dwarf stack, select ransom captives. New slayers are made.

Wait, Ushabti GB can damage wall, and are much more efficient at it (2-3 volley/1 squad per wall) . Why do you even need the CoS then?
Without siege attacker you can't initiate the siege turn 1, no matter what your army is
And also CoS are better at killing infantry because of their scatter shot

Necrotects has a skill path in their tree that lets you recruit one more construct.
@@theacu2cu868 Ah yes thank you. I always bump one of the sphinx capacity, so I couldn't remember if those were the only ones. I think one of the dynasty lords also provides extra Ushapti capacity.

Tomb Kings need a possability to buy Heroes for Jars, just like Lords
I think if a hero is not immortal, they are deleted when you disband them. So they can’t continue providing bonuses while benched. I’m pretty sure that’s the case with all races.
That said, just the lords alone are plenty for spamming jars. Once I was able to recruit lords at rank 5, I was getting one almost every turn. That’s 6 extra jars per turn; that’s just silly. Tomb kings are the only race I’ve played so far that I was able to have every hero and lord loaded with items, and still had tons of jars to spare.
I think he means upping the limit of heros out in the field by using the jars as you would army limit
Why not just withdraw the casket of souls from the battlefield?
