You've done a great job here. I have a few watches in my collection so far but I only really learned of how great this watch is about 2 weeks ago. I've watched a few other reviews but I like yours the best. It's no bullshit, not sticking in one aspect too long, straight to the point. I wish more people did reviews like you do.
Hi, I just had my new Navihawk delivered via Amazon today! I purchased it on the last day of the Amazon prime week (Or whatever it's called). I paid, with tax and shipping, 293.05! The only difference is, the watch's body looks like it's black anodized metal and a black rubberized band, that is adjustable. The band is stamped (NAVIHAWK) on both sides I liked your review, using the notepad. It's a very nice touch.😊 Thanks, Denny from Minnesota
I have the all-black version of this watch. I too got it at a great price and I love this watch! I don’t blame you for not explaining all the functions of this watch, lol, your video would have been at least an hour long. I only wish that the lume was stronger and longer lasting on the indexes, but having said that, I still love this watch. The bracelet is so beautifully made, and your description “it feels like something the Elves would have made in Lord of the Rings” was perfect.
Looking back I wish I did go over the functions/features. I was really new at youtube at the time. This is definitely a watch I want to revisit in a future review. Appreciate your insight👍
I just picked this up yesterday at the mall. It was clearance for $340 and I just had to. Good review, but I would have to disagree with the style of watch. I do not consider this as a dress watch it being 46mm it will not fit under the cuff. I’m partial to 39-40mm and simple dials for dressy occasions like the orient bambino or seiko presage. I’m a machinist and I like the way it looks with my jeans, work boots, and carhartt t-shirt.
Nice review I ordered one awhile ago after putting it off for a few years at the least was on sale 😆 receive it this week excited. have other gear coming and need to pickup tomorrow edc all the way
😃I should've known, you had it at one point!!!! 👏LOL. It's just such a cool watch in looks, as well as in theory. I agree.....I do wish they had made the slide-rule an outer-bezel style. Much like that of the Breitling, "Navitimer." Much more practical for use. Especially for a pilot wearing thick leather gloves. Still awesome though, IMHO. Great job, DK
Citizen Navihawks are solidass watches. They usually have very good discounts a few times a year on Amazon. Now that you reminded me of it I feel tempted to get another one.... damn lol
@@degenerateWA I've gotta tell you bro, I never really cared for "aviation/naval navigation" style pieces, but between you w/ your Citizen, "Navihawks" and "Nighthawks," Hamilton, "Cross-winds," ect, and The Urban Gentry w/ his Breitling, "Navitimers," Seiko, "Flightmaster," and Fortis, "Cosmenaute," I could help but learn to appreciate them, as capable, and horologically important navigational tools, as well as intricately beautiful, and detail oriented masterpieces, that have withstood the test of time. They're the epitome of the term "toolwatch," and were very much cutting-edge technology in their day. In short, I see beauty in their complexity, and I very much owe my introduction to their genre, to the 2 of you, and the work you do. I have since become slightly obsessed by Fortis, as a brand. A brand that I would still consider primarily, a genuine toolwatch manufacturer. IMHO, they're the "real deal," and someday aspire to own one
I have this in black. I wear it all day, every day. It did nip at first but, I soon got used to it and forget I've even got it on. As for functions, I've no idea how most of it works. I need to wait until October to see if I set the automatic summer/winter times correctly. I did try to follow the instructions but, I was tired and gave up by about page 1000000..... I thought it was set for me out the box. Nope!
Great choice man. I was taken aback from the awesome quality. I love the build and even the label plate on the side of the case. Just a beautiful watch.
Thanks for watching! Follow me on Instagram @ instagram.com/simucomreviews for daily EDC/gear pics!
I always like this nigh hawk no matter how busy the dial looks very awesome time piece
Agreed

Over time you'll figure out how it works. What's important is that it works for you and feels right on your wrist, and it sounds like it's doing that.
Good looking watch. :)
I finally got mine and love it to dead

That dial is way too busy for my taste.
