My Aspergers daughter had a large tumor in her bladder. My husband is facing cancer, at the same time, yet I feel joy. At times like these, I find my tongue and my hugs are loosened, and I want to spread the joy of Him.
Mary, I don't think our families want us to have to try so hard to appear to feel better than we do. Don't be too hard on yourself about that. And I'm sure Peter knows you support him even from home. Your love for each other shines out like a bright star. Y'all are both precious! ❤️

Weary and joyful, such truth. I have Ménière’s Disease and am in the middle of a bad flare up, bed bound lately, praying I’m feeling better by Christmas BUT I thank God for all the little things I often take for granted! I CHOOSE JOY ⭐️

Hi - just found your "story" on line! I Googled "Neupogen" and here you guys are! These journeys are SO hard for our spouses & it's difficult to be the husband caregiver. My wife of 45 years, Lindsey, just had her 1st injection of Newpogen this afternoon 'cuz her very low white blood counts with this new (has had just 2 treatments) chemo treatments for uterine cancer she was diagnosed in May this year. And, an emotional morning today as her mom cut the "rest" of her blond hair off due to the chemo hair loss. But, in the end, our joy is knowing Jesus - our anchor our champion, our "lover of our souls"! Merry Christmas Freys! Thanks for your story!

So true! A weary world rejoices, for yonder brakes a new and glorious morn!!!!! Been pretty much bedridden for the last four years, and can be joyful because of Christ in me, the hope of glory!!! Pray for both of you often. Keep looking up, and thank you for your continual encouragement and hope. Going now to look for Peter's most recent sermon. Use those on Sunday morning for my church at home! And looking at my wall saying "Don't Forget to Laugh everyday" from you guys!

Thank you for taking each season and not looking back. Since having perspective several surgeries this year in a big part of my foot amputated it's really hard for me to do things I desire to do. Please pray that I can stay in the season and choose Joy.
So true. My body doesn't work like it used to. I used to do a lot for my family & community. I'm not able to anymore. It's discouraging. But I do what I can and trust the Lord. I'm thankful for my family too. Bless there hearts they fill in the gap.
Hi! So, I discovered your channel around two years ago, and I became such a big fan. Later after that I had gone through so many things so I became less active and lost my account. Recently I found your channel again and honestly your videos can bring me so much joy. A few months ago I was diagnosed with lupus, an autoimmune disorder and your videos help me to get through when things seem to get too rough. I appreciate you guys so much and I live your content.

Merry Christmas Mary and Peter, as well as adorable bones, Ollie boy. I am sure your sermons will be or are wonderful Peter. Time zones make for difficult writing using tenses.
Those of us with chronic conditions have good days and bad days. We can't control our bodies Mary. Peter's work with the church is good for him in order to stay in touch with 'healthy' people in a normal world. My husband does volunteer work in our retirement. It is good for both of us. Some of us end up with being unhealthy throughout our lives, which wasn't our choice but it does mean that life still goes on outside our bedrooms and homes. I only found it difficult when someone intolerant came along with the attitude "your not sick again". They were the ones who only knew good health. That may sound terrible but it is a fact of life. Simply enjoy what you can, when you can. Love you guys.

i am feeling down and have depressive thoughts. sometimes its hard to stay positive. i look up to you dealing with so much, i have no chronical illness and still i struggle mentally sometimes. cant imagine being sick so often and still stay positive. youre so strong. merry christmas
Annie, mental issues can also fall into the chronic illness category. Depression can definitely be chronic and the brain is an organ like any other. Hope you feel better soon!❤️

My day was full of incredible joy, but so full that it lead to incredible weariness. I helped out at a local charity's christmas food drive, and while we only gave people 2 days notice of the drive we were completely overwhelmed by the response and we ran out of storage space about halfway through and had to start packing food around the offices (Luckily no one is working there over christmas and plenty of people will need food before they reopen). I then had a quick lunch and coffee with 2 of my aunties before rushing off again to go to the blood bank to donate. then whole day was hectic and chaotic but so full of love and cheer and people doing good things and it was so worth it all.
🙌🙌🙌 you know I think that's the first time I have ever heard Ollie bark. This was once again timely advise for me. We can not always control our situation, but we can control how we choose to react to it.
You know, Peter, if you were preaching here in Auckland, New Zealand, you might just be the one person who could convince this non religious person to start to go to church. You are very inspiring in everything you say and do. Thank you for being awesome :)

I think Jesus will bless you even if you're home. I'm pretty much a shut-in and I hold onto that when people say something about me not going to church anymore.
