- Take a look back to 2014 when Finding Neverland invited audiences to believe. The Act One finale, "Stronger," featuring Jeremy Jordan as Peter Pan author J.M. Barrie and Michael McGrath as Captain Hook saw Scott Pask's set transform into a pirate ship through A LOT of fairy dust and singing.

I would totally pay to own the entire professional recording of this performance. Jeremy Jordan is so great in this role. Shame he wasn't asked to follow it to Broadway.

@@吱娜终国 I read somewhere that Harvey Weinstein may have had an agreement with Matthew Morrison from the beginning. I think Morrison had other projects ongoing at the time the show was in development. It had mixed reviews, but despite that, I think Jeremy was generally praised for his work on it. Who knows? Maybe if they kept him, the show would have found more success. I think Weinstein felt Morrison was probably more bankable, but the man's a creep, so perhaps it was a good thing that Jeremy wasn't associated with this project more than he was. He still did a hell of a job.
The thing with Jeremy Jordan that makes him so memorable (besides the beautiful voice)...the PASSION in every performance. He puts his soul into everything.

I was fortunate enough to see this performance twice at the A.R.T. In Boston and got to meet Jeremy after a performance. He was great in this role and for the life of me cannot understand why he wasn’t cast for Broadway over Matthew Morrison. The show would have been way more successful than it was with Jeremy in the lead.
What an absolute tragedy that he wasn't in the Broadway production. Every clip I've seen from this is phenomenal.
I am serious. I would pay to see the whole professional recording of this!
It's a shame, JJ got cut off when it went to Bway...
He certainly nailed the Scottish accent far better than Matthew Morrison did.

Agreed. And i legit didn't know the accent was meant to be Scottish. Like no disrespect to Matthew Morrison as an actor but that accent was attrocious.
At least Jeremy can hold the accent and it sounds like what its supposed to.
Jeremy was robbed. He is in every way better for this role than Morrison was.
This song in D minor instead of C minor is so much better. That final A4 has so much more power than the G4 in the Broadway version
I personally prefer C Minor but this version's amazing too.
The High G is better for this song imo, but no one can complain about Jeremy singing his iconic A
see, i wouldn't necessarily say this role was "perfect" for Jeremy as much as something like Newsies... but that's the thing. He always rises to the challenge and blows your face away with the passion in his performance. he literally acts his butt of and sings his heart out and it has never disappointed me.

Omg Jeremy Jordan elevates this material like nobody's business. I love Matthew Morrison but I didn't like what I saw on Broadway. The producers made a huge mistake not bringing Jeremy to bway.

I am sorry I’ve watched this on Broadway and I thought that Jeremy should have brought it to Broadway. He is that good!!
I seriously believe there would be a lot of people willing to pay to see this full production if you have it to release. Jeremy has a huge fan base and they are incredibly supportive of his work. He is outstanding in this clip! 🙌🏼❤️🔥

I stan very few people, but any person or critic who says anything against Jermey Jordan immediately earns my ire, he is incredible
I have hyper focused on the Broadway version of this musical for about a year and I got to say I think Jeremy Jordans is a lot more intense than the Broadway version. I’m a little biased towards the Broadway version because it’s the one I heard first. However I can see why people prefer Jeremy‘s J.M. Barrie over Matthew Morrison‘s. Both of them are fantastic actors in their own right though.😊
Sorry but Matthew Morison is just not right for this role and having the songs transposed down takes away the magic
@@Orholam5 That’s an entirely valid opinion. Each version has its pros and cons.😊 That being said, I LOVE it when Jeremy Jordan gets right right up close to Captain Hook’s face in this version. He really takes control of his fears and him standing up to Hook feels much more powerful here.😊
i’m sorry but him ripping the sleeves up and aggressively opening the shirt just does so much to me…
BLESS 🙌 Finding Neverland is still one of my favourite musicals, but this production was the best imho. Nothing will ever top it 😍

EDIT: it is a crime that he never continued with this production. Don't get me wrong i think Matthew Morrison is great but Jeremy in my opinion does this character better. But I also have to take in account that we may have missed out on Jeremy's Winn Schott in supergirl and THAT would also be a crime.

Was privileged to see this production. Jordan and the cast were perfection. If not for Weinstein's wife NY would have had JJ as the lead.

That was wonderful but why was his mic turned down? The pirate was louder as was the supporting cast and only at the very end do we get full on Jeremy. Weird.
