@@SusMagus I might be wrong on this, but it seems to me that it resets pretty quickly (like 4-5 seconds) after everyone has left the building, might even be instantly. Only after the windup is finished though. Windup will continue even while everyone is outside the building.
I'm almost completely sure the jester always knows where you are no matter what, you could be on the other side of the building and as long as it can get you it *will* attempt to

Except there's only 2 escapes that being finding an exit really fast or waiting for TP in an unreachable spot like the video. He's one of the hardest enemies to deal with if you're lost.

There's a well known mod that replaces the Jester's music box and scream with Free Bird. Pair that with the mod that lets enemies leave the facility, and legging it back to the ship with the free bird solo blaring behind you is one of the most badass experiences you can have in a game. Unless you take off pretty quickly, it will come in the ship and murder everyone. It's so much worse than even the dogs.
Whenever we see Jester, we treat it like a friend so it focuses on me, while everyone else evacuates When it winds up, i just follow the players steps and go off safely. Even the ghost girl went with me
How to survive against a forest keeper (giant) 1. Giants rely on vision, not hearing so try to stay out of their line of sight. Be careful though since they can see you from long distances. 2. Get one of your crew members to teleport you to the ship if you are grabbed, if they are fast enough you can survive. 3. If one of your crew members are being grabbed you can flash bang the giant to save you crew member, get ready to run right after. 4. Hide under small roofs where they cannot fit under, make sure they can’t reach you. Following these steps can help you get past these creatures.
I've noticed the AI for some of the enemies in Lethal can be jank sometimes lol, but when the opportunity arises you gotta take advantage and get the hell outta there
Once it gets out the box, you lose. It’s to fast to escape, it won’t go back in unless every player Leaves the building, and it stops at *NOTHING* to kill the player
