Announcing the project to staff today, the Daily Wire’s Boreing said: “It’s a story about a princess and a prince, about beauty and vanity, about love and its power to raise us from death to life. It’s our own adaptation of an ancient fairy tale.”
“I was raised on the original Grimms’ Fairy Tales, so I’m thrilled that we’re bringing this iconic story to life for the next generation,” said Cooper. “Snow White is such a beautiful character, and I’m honored to be playing her. Like all the best fairy tales, this is a story with timeless values, like love, friendship, and kindness, and I can’t wait to share them.”
Boreing took a swipe today at Disney’s upcoming Snow White movie starring Rachel Zegler. Without providing specific evidence, Boreing claimed the House of Mouse’s film “will expose children to the popular but destructive lies of the current moment”.
“While Disney still uses Walt’s name, they have all but abandoned his legacy,” he claimed. “It’s taken 100 years to build Disney. We know we aren’t what they are today, but we hope in time we might become what they were once upon a time: a little studio with big ideas and the courage to chase them.”
The Daily Wire says Bentkey is available now with 150 episodes of 18 shows, including four Bentkey originals. New episodes are due to arrive every Saturday morning.

I really hope they release this in theaters. I’d hate to see it stuck inside the Bentkey subscription service. I’d pay to see this in theaters and would support it that way. The box office would give the world a real world measurement of how well it does, and I’d love to see the clear message sent to Disney that a small movie company can out perform them just by sticking with the classic story

They wouldnt be able to get it into many theaters if they tried. Hollywood has too much control over that kind of thing. Disney would likely tell them hey if you run that movie you will never get any more of ours.

I really hope this is released in theaters and not just put on their streaming service. That would be so small time and it would almost defeat the purpose if this is supposed to be a challenge to Disney. I would love to see this in a theater and it deserves to be shown there.

You can always request your theater run a movie. Get a local petition going for your theater. Enough interest and a theater will run pretty much any movie.

The cgi is from different movies. They just pasted Brett Cooper (Bentkey Snow White actress) into clips from _Snow White and the Huntsman_ and _The Huntsman: Winter's War_ .
Don't expect expensive cgi in the actual Bentkey version.

I nearly cried when I saw REAL DWARFS in their respective roles. It's tough enough to make a living acting without Hollywood Wokesters giving your jobs to stars who don't even need the money, or the work.
So Disney can replace a white mermaid with a black one but can't cast dwarfs to play dwarf.

This is a fan trailer, a lot of the clips are from Mirror Mirror, also Snow White and the Hunstman and its sequel. Those are the main ones I can pick up on, not sure if they used other movies, but I say definitely check out Mirror Mirror it’s so fun

Bentkey is putting out its trailers before Disney has a chance to drown them out with their trailers. I guess the audience only needs to see a trailer once to have a favorable first impression.

Ive completely given up on Disney and Hollywood, canceled all of my subscriptions. I WILL however make it a point to see this. I'm looking forward to seeing how these classic movies SHOULD me made!
I will get a Daily Wire subscription just to watch this with my whole family. It is going to be so very good. I have wanted to see Brett Cooper act in a movie or show for sometime now, she always lights up when she talks about her time as an actress.
She's also acting in their Pendragon Cycle project. Supporting Daily Wire make this content is worth the cost of the subscription.

I thought this was just a joke. I’m blown away. Can’t believe they did this. Can’t wait to watch it. Someone finally gets it - understands that old fairytales are a part of the magic of who we are and we want to share that with our children. Hopefully this is the catalyst for change in understanding that not everything in our history should be destroyed, but celebrated and regenerated.

In the original Grimms version I think that the queen was made to dance in iron shoes on hot coals. There is a line though in this trailer that makes me think that instead in this version that the Queen finds redemption. That would make a lovely story. The new Disney version seems more like Xena Warrior Princess. The funny thing about the new Disney version is that I don't think that either their queen or their Snow White are especially attractive. They aren't ugly, but not riveting. Since jealously over beauty is the whole impetus for the story, if they aren't really that pretty, then the story doesn't even make sense. I hope this Daily Wire version does very well. I had thought they might be inching close to copyright infringement with that blue dress with the red inserts, but google, who is never ever wrong, tells me that clothes can't be copyrighted.
The hilarious thing is Gal Gadot (Evil Queen) is supposed to be jealous of Rachel Zagler's beauty (Snow White) 😂 In what multiverse would that even be possible?? 😂
@@phh.8393 but even in the Dizney original, the Queen *was* beautiful. It wasn’t until she gave in to her envy and paranoia that she made herself as ugly on the outside as she was on the inside.
I thought that was what the mirror saw. (Edit: in their remake, Snow White is a snotty wench. Not what the original mirror would appreciate.)

Wow! Love the focus on “innocence and purity” instead of mere physical beauty. In this increasingly superficial world, it’s a message that is much needed and will hopefully bring healing to those girls who can’t measure up to the airbrushed standards.

I am not even really a huge fan of everything the Daily Wire does politically but I like the idea for this movie. Its not really even a political stance as much as just taking a stance on preserving some of our original stories. Not everything has to be changed to make a statement on new woke America all the time. Plus Brett Cooper is one of the ones on the Daily Wire I like. Fun personality. Should be good.

Yeah, that dude has NEVER read the original Grimms' Tales. They are known to be gruesome, brutal and cruel, definitely not full of kindness, love or friendship. They were also never meant to be pure kids' stories.
The real content of Snow White & the 7 dwarves Tale:
Snow White was conceived through sorcery. Her barren mother used blood magic to get a child and paid with her life for that.
The Queen is a cannibal, who wants the huntsman to deliver her Snow White's heart and liver ( which she wants to eat to absorb her beauty ... luckily it turns out to be the organs of a boar, but she didn't know that ).
Snow White is a dumb young teenage girl, who falls for the Queen's tricks three times (!), despite the warnings of the dwarves.
The prince literally behaves like a necrophilliac, who falls in love with a corpse, cuz the loveliness of the dead girl touches his heart ( those are the exact words from the tale my dear clueless americans ).
The Evil Queen is tortured to death at their wedding by being forced to dance in iron shoes. The mirror is shattered ( in some versions, cuz the Queen was pleading for mercy and blamed the mirror for her deeds, so they destroyed it just in case ).
The only adaptation which got the tone of the fairy tale right was 1997s Snow White - A Tale of Terror.
Cuz that's how those old tales are. Terrifying. And NOT kind and lovely.
Moved to Anchorage before 4th grade (summer 1954)..... Baby boom in full swing, so not enough schools.... Went 1/2 day in an old, dark school in downtown..... Remember dark, dreary room with beat up bookcase in the back full of weathered Grimms Fairytales..... Read 'em all; segued to Mark Twain at 10 [Tom Sawyer & Huck Finn]....Became Tom and Huck runnin' around the woods outside of Anchorage for 5th-6th grades..... Would like to see new Tom & Huck movie along the same lines as this classic.... Lookin' forward to seeing this Snow White, passing on Disney woke version....

I owned a collection of Grimm's tales. I got curious after watching the 1997 Snow White. The books were in English of course, I'm Asian. I'm looking forward to this not Disney version.

You just *think* you know the Grimm Tales. But even so, always show *proper* respect to intangible cultural heritage of other countries.
And I fear that none of those american adaptations will live up to it.
