Great battle report, great figures, great terrain and great banter. Well done gents 👍🏻 …just remember tanks pivot from its center, so Andre couldn’t move his tank off of the back edge without going off of the table… but in the spirit of the game you both ran with it 👍🏻 Good game.
Watching through this and the board looks awesome - one thing I picked up on is that at around 16:00 you should declare all of your tank weapon targets first before resolving, because the initial hit with the howitzer could have influenced your decision on what to shoot at with the other weapons.
Great to watch the game all the way through. Just ignore the double 6 at the end. It's your game!!! As I commented before often these early war games can be more fun as the weapons and equipment is just less powerful!!
Interesting scenario, historically I don't think they ever had joint exercises, which may have helped even if it would have been of minimal impact. Great looking table 👍
looking forward to seeing the vid, when you said at the start youre sick of germans in every report, what im hearing is more axis armies are needed for the channel?
Great game, figures & terrain. Played in an enjoyable and friendly manner. I'm getting into V3 now, but we 'house rule' not to play with Coy Cdrs -too powerful for the points cost.
You did the assault wrong on the last objective flipping it back. You must run straight towards not around the wall which means you can’t go 12 but must stop at the wall. He wasn’t touching the wall anywhere that i could see so you still couldn’t do it

British 2 pdr doesn't have HE. French guns on the Somau is 47mm and Char B1bis are 47mm in the turret, plus the 75mm howitzer in the hull. Hull gun actually has no traverse at all so it should face directly at its target. Bolt Action likely misses this.
Watched the whole thing twice. I have to offer the counter opinion that BA is just not a good wargame. Enjoy your tourny, Travis, and then please get back to wargaming.
Carnage. Excellent game.

That Cruiser II looks about right. It's a large lad, made of tin foil
You all forgot about the observer in the church tower when you did the 1st arty strike.
Haha you are right. He would have left the game after the mortar died anyway.

They are very powerful. Nice to have all the snaps though since there are more dice now than there used to be
Lovely game and video. Travis rolled unusually well, didn't he?
Rolled maybe average which is good for me

Pulp Figures, Highland Infantry Command
Nice game, where dit you get the objective markers from?
The flag ones? Printed some 40mm circular national flags and glued them to 40mm bases.
Yes where’s that Scottish officer from
Where did you get the pin dials?
They are from a company called Charlie Foxtrot Models out of the UK but they can be had other places too
