George from our group made them, they are very hardy and stand up to being knocked around… plus they really do look very good. Between our group we are able to pull together some nice scenery and figures, which is why we decided to share this with others. Hope you enjoy the videos and give them a thumbs up 👍🏻 or even better subscribe if you haven’t already, it all helps us to be motivated to continue and build the channel. Thanks again
Hello, superb table and original scenario. Can you specify if the objectives can be taken by any type of units or only infantry or artillery? Thank you
Hi thanks for the comment. Infantry only, so artillery also… but that means you have to push forward to get to the objectives as quickly as possible! Glad you liked it, we have more planned soon 👍🏻
I know the feeling… the basics are important, but there are lots of different modifiers and special rules to keep track of, stick with it and you will get more experienced.
I play with a guy that has a Wasp Mk II and he also has the light mortar in the back he can sort of make you pay if he hits you with both the mortar and flamethrower at the same time! I have seen it happen twice and the poor infantry didn't stick around long.
That’s fantastic, the wasp is such a great vehicle to take with the British, it has never let me down… we did have one game where it destroyed 3 of Ricks tanks in the game… …some pay back for his multiple muti-rocket launcher armies in other games 😂😂
@@theministryofminiatures I own 8 flammer vehicles in my 4 factions 3 for my US M4A3 Zippo, then a M4A3 CWS 5 with a 105mm with coaxial long barrel flamethrower and coaxial MMG in the turret (you can fire one not multiple weapons from the turret, and also it really has no stats for Bolt Action WWII but it can be used in Korea under the USMC M4A3 flamethrower). Finally M4 Crocodile people go oh a Churchill, and I say no Sherman. Then my Soviets have 3 KV-8, KV-2 and finally a OT-34/85. And finally just a single vehicle a piece for my Germans and Japanese in the form of the SD Kfz 251/16 Flammepanzerwagen and SS Ki engineering vehicle. The SS Ki is nasty as you can upgrade it to the Bo and so have a flamethrower on all 4 facings, front, left, right and then rear.
@@ChrisS-fh7zt wow 8! Now that’s commitment! Wouldn’t want to face them in a battle... luckily they are for different forces, otherwise they would be even more lethal than they already are 😂😉🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yes, hopefully soon... I love the Finns, and need to do some work on my winter Finns... just needs one of the players to bring their soviets along, or another suitable army. I am on holiday this week so a little break from Battle reports, but planning next ones very soon 👍
Tough loss for Rick on this one! I've noticed you've got quite a similar aggressive play style as me, which gives you a lot of board control and options. Whereas most of the guys you play against are quite "cagey" which really gives you quite an advantage. Could have been a different story if that bombardment didn't shread Rick's army apart. Maybe. Great battlerep as always guys! P.s. love the fact Rick, even in summer with his shorts on is wearing his checkered slippers! Comfort is key lol.
Haha yes, my play style is pretty aggressive, I always aim to advance, fire and a unit must do something of value… makes it worthwhile! Also get the objectives is a must. I think my bombardment is just repayment from our last battle when Rick did the same to Me!!! I am also in the process of making a small token so we can have you highlighted in future games as either the officer or team… will be a disc with your name on to highlight who is running you! Hopefully will make sense when you see it. And i simply had to leave his slippers in shot 👍🏻
It does. Can be a risky strategy especially in kill point missions where shooting a truck that has more than one unit in it. And one or more of those is a small team like say an assault squad of ten with a flamer team for example.
Not a fan of mixing weapon types in units although it is thematic and some times fits the scenario. What I cannot forgive is that you didn't give the Recce Jeeps the extra MMGs - shocking!!! Dropping one LMG would have given you eight more shots for the same 20pt cost...
Class looking board! Love the mill building & river 👌🏻
Thanks, Rick has been doing terrain for a few years and has done a great job on it!
Love being able to share our games, glad you enjoyed it.
@@theministryofminiatures really enjoy your battle reports, thanks for sharing them 👍🏼
You are welcome, thank you for watching and the comment 👍🏻
Fantastic terrain and game!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Again a top batrep. And wow your dice were very hot! Poor Rick.
Huge thanks, glad you liked it! And yes... some very, very lucky rolling!
Nice backyard
Thank you, much nicer in the summer with the doors open… great natural light for videos too 👍🏻
Excellent batrep. Your terrain and models are very nice indeed. Well done.

Great battle report!! Where is the watermill from?
Thanks - much appreciated.
The mill is from Sarissa Precision, I believe Warlord Games also sell it.

Great game and those dice need checking. How many 6's??? 😂😂😂
Also I thought every unit in a truck took d6 hits?
