I can tell you that there was NOTHING like an Elvis performance. From 1969 through 1977 Elvis gave his all. He was even more handsome in person. Hard to believe I know. With his 4 1/2 octave range, talented orchestra, talented band, and the best backup singers it was explosive. Elvis had almost 10 years of pent-up demand to sing good songs. He slayed every venue. He started allot of stuff to make sounds and the back up singers and all kinds of things had not been for Elvis. He mixed sounds and voices snd all kinds of stuff.
. I remember only too well. I was working till 21-30. Picked my girlfriend up. Had a drink in my local. Played " cant help falling in love with you " on the jukebox. Dropped my girlfriend at home. Went home myself. My big brother John and Carol, his wife was there and there was a picture of the King on the telly. I asked big brother what was going on and he told me. I couldn't believe it. It was getting on to midnight and it was a Tuesday night. ....😢🙏
I was at home live in Denmark. Heard it in the radio news. First would not believe it. Then the Tabloid started gossip.omg Sad he had to go but Darn he left a Legacy No One Can reach ever 🙌
I was in my bedroom and my brother came in and said Elvis died. I jumped up and went into the living room to see the broadcast. As young as I was , his daughter’s age, my heart sank.
I was 14 years old , my 16 year old brother and I was trying to talk our parents into letting us drive some 20 miles down the road to Dayton Ohio to see Elvis preform . We didn't get to . The tickets were 15.00 bucks a shot . Elvis passed away soon after . One of my life's regrets !

When Elvis plays/kids around it reminds me so much of my brother/my teddy bear. Roy (my brother)was a jokester too. My brother was a awesome real man. While still in highschool he got a job to help my mom with all of us siblings. To help out with my younger sister Debbie, who at age three we found out she had Leukemia. It was very hard times for all if us. I miss them all so very much.

When Elvis plays/kids around it reminds me so much of my brother/my teddy bear. Roy (my brother)was a jokester too. My brother was a awesome real man. While still in highschool he got a job to help my mom with all of us siblings. To help out with my younger sister Debbie, who at age three we found out she had Leukemia. It was very hard times for all if us. I miss them all so very much.

Hello deliwala I agree with you his laugh was phenomenal when he laughed everybody laughed if he didn't make you laugh then something was wrong with you because his laugh was just so phenomenal coming from a genius and he didn't even give his self that type of knowing everybody else knew but he didn't he was just a shy down-to-earth Southern Country Boy that's what made him so great he never forgot his roots
