The last gene you can get is Infinity in the Dragnir colony... you can easily have all the rest before that. You're probably think you can only get the one in the Container Yard by walking throug the desert but you can actually teleport there using the Black Ship teleporter.
Meyrleep the master. Lv up 5 times to get it. To get meyrleep you need the flower jewel found at the ? sign to teh west of Maeykess Gorge. Then go to the ? sign near the coffee shop to the north and have peco hit the stone into the water.

Manmo is the descendent of BoF2's BigHand, Mamot, and M.C. Tusk lol! Wait a minute, Mamot from BoF2 is called Manmo in the original Japanese version lol!

A stronger version of the Breath Attack and, as far as I know, higher stats. (Hurricane instead of Tempest. Tempest does 3/8 of Ryu's HP in damage, Hurricane does 1/2 of Ryu's HP in damage.) All of the Hybrid forms have a stronger version if you combine Fusion with a specific Gene. Force for Rei, Eldritch for Nina, ??? for Momo, and Shadow for Peco.
Just got into the desert myself. Pretty much same levels except Im using Nina (lvl 31) to replace Momo. My team with Rei on Weretiger, Ryu on Warrior using Focus/Aura & Nina on War Shout always wins. =)
Has this happened to anyone else: when i killed him he dropped the Armites Cap. I was playing the PSP version with no cheats (honest). I just wondered if this had happened to anyone else?
It's actually a creature manufactured by Myria, since you could fight a clone (See Sample 7) of it inside her very fortress. Like most of the things thrown in Ryu's way in an attempt to stop him, the Manmo was there because of Myria! Garr thinks it is merely a test, but Myria's ultimate goal is to kill Ryu. Peco also confirms this in the cutscene leading to the final choice.
Manmo looks like that thing in breath of fire 2 that was telling your group "I'm gonna slap you"

You don't gotta cast all that stuff to demolish this boss. Just turn into an Ice Behemoth, and Manmo will perish very quickly.

Well... I use the ePSXe PS1 Emulator and FRAPS recorder to record them and Sony Vegas to edit/encode the videos.

i beat this thing in 4 or 5 turns by turning into a ice mammoth and kept using blizzarde

Why is your HP so high, mine was incredibly low due to the desert :(
It depends on who is your master, if you want high hp, I would recommend Bunyan.
