It's just great that people are still playing this game, I remember having struggled a bit against them back then. I think I went with kaiser form and magnum cause I thought it was the strongest option, that was also very mp consuming
@DualcoreGaming10 Beat it last week! Was able to kill the Beserker and Arch Mage. Probably my best run so far, especially leveling up Peco to where he's as powerful as Gar but more agile than Rei. I don't use Peco unless I need to gain more skills so I save him to learn under Deis and Ladon (equiping him with monopolize), than Fahl
But your speed is very high for the high level. Great strat. I use Rei with resist and speed double turn to beat it in low levels. And Berserker is same. I cast protect on Rei with atack form. In the extra turn i use last resort, resits, in nex turn i put max def armor, atack with super combo, in second turn change the equip for the max speed, and resist. Repeat. Ryu and the third member atack or suport. Ryu can do same in back with dragon warrior.
Thats why always train under master that increase agility. Its easy to increasy HP, AP, str, def stat thanks to their stat-increasing items can be easily stolen. While agi and int increasing items cant be stolen from anywhere. Thats why agility (and int like deis) master is a must!
was my first game for a ps1 i importet a moded ps1 just for that for over 800 mark. and then my tv was to old to run it^^. got the game on my psp today still running. only problem with it was always the grind.. it tooked ages for a level and then there was no diffrence at all. some levels you gained 2 hp and that was it.
The grind is a pain, good thing that I love to grind! Your best bet to increasing stats is using items. There are ways of getting a good amount of each of them.
I assume this also works at the expected level of 35? (The level you would be at whitout grinding near endgame.) Archmage heals 1500 HP per turn, so if one can deal significantly more than that, it should still be possible to defeat him in 3-4 turns.
It would technically work at any level. You just need a whole lot of HP because MeteorStrike damage is based on HP. I farmed a hundreds of life shards to increase my HP to 999 to achieve the highest amount of HP possible in this form, which is 10x base to make it to 9990.
This looks fun but as an experienced rpg gamer I kinda wish I didn't know all the tricks to make mid to late game easy....the thing I loved about SMT Nocturne and some older Final Fantasies is that the game keeps a nice competitive edge even if you do grind since the enemies seem to scale with growth of characters. This looks like one punch man lvl cheese and the battles crease to be fun for me at that stage. You ever play the Divinity games? They are awesome. They get easy once full party is met so the way to keep it challenging is to keep party down to 2, 3 at most.
First off, thank you for watching! I am also an experienced rpg gamer, but what I have noticed, gamers like to experience games is many different ways. Death Unites Us from 4-8Productions plays games just like you like to play them, with a challenge. I like love to grind and explode the bosses, and this is fine as well. The challenge for me is how bad can I make the boss look in front of my audience! This is a perfectly acceptable way of playing, and your way is also perfectly fine. The thing that matters in the long run is if you are having fun, and I have had a blast grinding and making these videos, and I hope you have had a great time watching. Happy gaming my friend.

Well if you can't beat Archmage at level 72 you got some problems
