Celebrating the release of “Cipullo: Making Jewelry Modern” this program, moderated by Dr Sharon Novak, discusses the life and designs of Aldo Cipullo with none other than his brother, designer Renato Cipullo. The discussion follows Aldo's inspirations, his uniquely Italian perspective as an American designer and how his works both reflect the times and yet remain timeless. In addition to creating one of the most successful jewelry designs ever with the Love Bracelet, in his work for David Webb, Tiffany & Co., Cartier and in his own studio, Aldo Cipullo created some of the most iconic designs of the century. The talk concludes with a view into Renato’s work and how he maintains the Cipullo legacy.
