Cassava consumption and early child neurodevelopment

Thanks for your discussion on the cassava cyanogen and human health. I am from Nigeria where cassava is both grown and consumed as a staple food . I have worked on metabolism of cassava cyanide and human health for more than 27 years. I have also found from our research work over the years that some of the the reported diseases associated with metabolism of cassava cyanide remains circumstantial. What is your take on this assertion?.
