No. You are not the only one. I do that almost everytime I walk into a new area

I always do that shit. It's like spamming VATS in Fallout, lmao. Plus it works really good here cause of ER's lock-on range.
I only do that when entering a new room or a bushy area because the game thinks hidden enemies = difficulty

The mushroom set also gives you a damage bonus from nearby targets being afflicted with poison or rot. This stacks with the talisman that does the same thing
I have the hemet but not other pieces. Each piece gives a boost?
@@terps710 There's technically kind of 2 armor "sets". There's the full getup set which has a head piece that's just good as a boost of immunity against poison and rot, then there's just a separate head piece on its own that weighs more but has a special effect that boosts damage near rot affliction. The helmet stacks with the talisman at least, and if you wanted to you could afflict poison on yourself and the damage boost will still apply.

Yeah, there's a head piece in the lake of rot that procs on poison and scarlet rot. Great poise too, weak to fire and tall tho.

Apparently you can even double up on the explosion crystal. Only time I've done it so far took out 90% of their health lmao
