The same thing has happened here in the far west of Rajasthan, the Thar. I'm 24 yo, and I've never seen the amount of rainfall as much as we received this year. It's probably due to the reasons same as mentioned for the Sahara.
This is the earth balancing itself. The ocean evaporation and rain in the desert reduces the ocean levels, and brings forest and life to the Sahara. Good things.
Sahara is not the driest place on earth. The driest place on earth is in the antarctic called the Dry valley. It is cold, yes, but there is no precipitation there, no ice or no snow. It's not rained there since 2 million years. Again. The hottest desert in the world is the Lut desert in Iran. in 2005 temperatures reached around 70 degrees C.
Good question. Probably not. The tropical convergence zone is going further north and south from the equator thats all. The ocean and air is warmer and the air can carry more water. It needs other factors to make it rain down, though. also general changes are hard to predict. a wetter ethiopia is observed and a slightly dryer southeast africa so far for the last few decades. Monsoon might be stronger but also longer dry periods between heavy rainfalls.
But sadly even a centennial/epic rainfall & flooded lake, could not sustain more than a month or 2. It will either gone evaporated or sunken deep into hungry sand. We cannot expect the green bushes/ ecology to permanently take-root for all year round.(?!?)
🎯💎🏆 Great insightful & fruitful video 🏆💎🎯

Yes, you are right ✅️ and now it's happening in saudian deserts 🏜 next sahara ❤🎉
this aged like fine wine
It’s flooding now
It’s happening right now 😲😲😲

I think the driest place on earth is the ATACAMA DESERT in Chile. Kindy cross check. Thanks
Well even that is not true either.
Driest deserts are located at the poles.
And not the hottest neither
The driest place on earth is not even a desert. It's poles. Antarctica and Arctic pole. It never rains. It's the driest atmosphere there is.
I bless the rains down in Africa...
Rain is a blessing, water is life
Thank you for this explination.
*Thanks Down To Earth 🌎*
I love that The Saharah has received gift from God 😊
Nice!
Thanks!

Land surface temperature 🤒 reached 70.7 °C. A world 🌍 historic record. Very impressive.
ITCZ shifting northwards might be an early sign of AMOC collapse.
Will it reduce the rainfall in the region below sahara?

waiting for the rainfall
This comment aged well
Have you seen the rain?
what is the song in the background?
While rain in the Sahara may be rare, I remember it snowing in the Sahara desert, in about 1976
"its just a rare weather anomoly guys, nothing to do with the earth tilting on its axis!" be prepared people!
The Sahara is neither the dryest nor hottest desert in the world
Well not true always
It's a combination of ocean currents (hot to cold) and air currents.
See sechura desert...

The driest place is attacama desert
Driest place on earth is somewhere in Atacama.
😮🙆👉🌧️
Not the driest place on earth . 3rd .
Sahara means desert so it's the desert desert
When people have no explanation for certain events, they use the term "paranormal phenomenon, GOD can do anything.
Intellectual laziness.
All you need to pary to JESUS Christ for rain
🙄
If you know it’s going to receive rain then it’s not unexpected.👎👎
