I hate it when a walkthrough video tells you half of what you need to do like that is the entire mechanic and then go "but wait! That didn't do anything! here's why!" and then explains the second part.
Agreed. I legitimately struggle with this, and this time around again I am but slightly due being solo about it. Obviously I know what to do, and if need be I'll have my year older brother to help me out. Ultimately I'm making more progress, and funny since again, I struggle with the simple intro part as I had no clue especially as a returning OG Destiny 1/Day 1 Destiny 2 player, since I refused to look it up as I thought I could figure out. Turns out, duh, I just need light and dark separately to open the first coin door which I did before but I has to be separately and blah blah blah, exactly what this helpful simple though obvious, very clear and made me understand really well as a returning player who keeps bunny hopping back throughout the years for Destiny 2, (played a lot before it was free to play/during forsaken collection I bought) but my brother still plays, and thanks to him I remember Destiny 1 made by Halo creators ofc, so we got into it with our ps4 slim at the time and rest is history. Hopefully this time, I can do more raids and earn the armor I love fashion about. My favorite raid, old but still the same/might change, is the one where you raid the golden cabal ship or something. I just hope I figure out a way to get the armor for my titan (literally my what? 3rd account, 1st one was OG ps4 slim, 2nd was xbox (I use mostly but paused) 3rd is technically my other brother and my 4th account is my other brother but simply that I actually own account wise, simplicity sake,) times my 3rd OFFICIAL account with clean slate to experience with my ps5 and all that good stuff.
I've solo flawlessed this dungeon, but I never knew what to do when tolland was at the top of the cube room. I never noticed the changing faces, so I would pick a random side and hope for the best. Now, I feel confident enough to teach this dungeon with all the others. Fantastic guide as always.

This might be the best dungeon guide I’ve ever seen-quick with lots of great info. I’ve played prophecy multiple times, but this guide helped me understand it better. Well done! New and returning players, note that there is no prompt to tell you that you’re in the right place to cleanse a geyser or which control to use. On Xbox, it’s the right trigger by default, so it’s probably the fire control across platforms. Just get close to the geyser, use your fire control, and that should do the trick.

To be honest I had no idea what to do here I just used my brain and got to the first boss has some friends join and they helped me with their brain power now we are at the kell stage thanks for the tip for staying with in range! That will be helpful. The cube was challenging but my bro and I figured it out!
I never noticed that the cubes would light up, and because of that I always thought that we just had to waste a round when Toland appeared above the cube. Thanks a ton for this
I honestly think the boss fight is leagues easier than the phalanx echo, that guy consistently bodies me lmao. I couldn't imagine trying to run this at the actual recommended power level of 1600.
Not sure if oversimplified or if others overcomplicate. I remember watching a different video where they said you had to do something special in that room with the 3 things you cleanse and spawn an ogre but you make it sound so simple. If its turns out you're right then you've earned yourself a subscriber cause other tutorials makes things sound so much harder than they really are.
Nothing special needed, just pick up 5 motes of the color required and "dunk/cleanse" as usual! You can straight up ignore the ogre too lol no need to kill it. It's just there to be a nuisance

I hate that first encounter, Osteo striga helps me a lot to clear all the enemies, others use Riskrunner and on another video I saw that if you clear 2 light motes and 2 light dark motes he was jumping from the highest one to be in between and he was clearing or purifying 2 at the same time.
Me and my new light friend were going to be taught this dungeon by one of my other friends, but he ended up having to leave at Phalanx We duoed the whole dungeon blind 3 phases into Kell Echo, we wiped with him at about 10% health left We pulled in a 3rd and easily 3-phased That was my first Prophecy… It was a thing that happened i’m probably going to end up on r/thathappened, but whatever

For the cube room, i had no idea we supposed to put lights on the cube. On my runs, i just cleanse on wherever the light is and if its on the ceiling, ill guess where to cleanse hahah. Thanks for your guide much appreciated!

I tried this dungeon when it came out and just... nah I was too new to the game. Tried again in the season of the pirate and just did bad. I'm gonna solo it but... I could do with getting a Xenophage, How does one get one, solo?
Solo is possible. It's part of a quest that involves sending you into the Pit of Heresy dungeon on the Moon. But instead of completing the dungeon...you follow an alternate path within the dungeon and end up fighting an optional wizard boss. I do recommend at least one other person just so it's not as frustrating!
i gave up the spawns for dark or light motes seems random and the last dps phase i had all 3 dark motes annd EVERY single time it dropped nothing but light motes
Armor with potentially high stats and rare weapons. Some dungeons have artifice armor drops, means the legendary armor has an extra mod slot for stat increasing mods that don‘t cost armor energy to equip. They also offer cosmetics for their solo or solo flawless completion.
You need 5 motes of the specific color you're trying to cleanse. Once you collect 5 motes, your game view will zoom out to third person and show you carrying the motes around (same view like when you're using a sword)
How do you clear the Final Bosses blurry ball bullshit??! Only way to kill him is never get hit by it?? Or is there a way to clear it? Ik it sends u back to start of dp area but seems there's a timer too that it kills u...not sure if there's a way to get rid of it.

did you try watching the video?
If your half dozen brain cells are still confused, you get LIGHT notes standing in the LIGHT and DARK motes standing in the DARK
