I'm a metalcore fanatic but man, Holding Absence is one of my favorite bands by far.
Same here, this band is amazing
I'm trying to get into them, I find them too chill though.
These guys and Starset, i even like deathcore but these 2 are on another level

@@spitz5183 Oh I know them. They're pretty good. Maybe I should focus more on the lyrics than on the instrumental when I listen to Holding Absence.
this album made me cry many many times. the lyrics are almost too much at times. this album goes so so deep into the songwriters personal life it seems. feeling this much emotion in music can only mean great pain coming from the artist. i can only imagine this was a wonderful outlet of grief. thats at least how i see it.
These dudes are from Cardiff Wales my hometown, i know them personally and they are honestly so wholesome and such good musicians, I want them to blow up
They definitely deserve more recognition! Discovering them this year was an amazing thing that happened to me 😃

I’ve been honest on Birb’s channel about this and I’ll say it here. I had a panic attack the day this album released and then I listened to it at midnight and I related to every single word from the ‘I’m Alive’ in Celebration Song to every lyric in ‘nomoreroses’ to the final note in ‘Mourning Song’ and then finishing with the cover of The Greatest Mistake Of My Life. 12/10. AOTY along with Erra for me.

I haven't stopped listening to this since it came out. To me, the entire album flowed so well & I loved the lyricism. Both HA and Erra holds my AOTY title as of right now.

Beyond Belief reminds me a lot of The Adventure by Angels and Airwaves tbh
AOTY, Lucas is such a phenomenal vocalist. Great band!
Coming back after their UK tour to say goddamn Lucas has improved so much live since Self titled. See them live
Beyond Belief definitely got Funeral For A Friend vibes maybe not from first album but second or third.
Anyway I think too, that this album is strong contender to AOTY and my top 20 best albums of all time easily. Masterpiece in every kind of word.

This is just pure emotion that they've created and that's why it's so beautiful. You can hear the pain, the happiness, everything. Just beautiful.

Aye you finally checked out one of my favourite bands Holding Absence! I ordered the box set for this album and man can I not wait to get it. I love Lucas and the rest of the guys in this band. Drugs And Love is definitely my favourite but this whole album is beautiful

Solid album. I love how the songs are aggressive and hit hard, yet at the same time so mellow and soft.
I can truly say this is the best album I listened to in 42 years.

Weird to say, but this ablum gave me SCREAMWORKS by HIM vibes, but in a, obviously, more metalcore side. Loved it, keep on going back to it from time to time.
