This is such a banger of an album. Like really really good. Seriously dude tho, you need to get on Holding Absence. Their new album came out today and it’s my joint AOTY along with Erra. Been a fan for about a year and they fucking killed it. Really emotional album and a perfect album. 12/10
Personally tracks like Drugs And Love,Nomoreroses and Die Alone (In Your Lovers Arms) are perfect. The singles go hard as well but you need to be on the right mood to listen to the album.
Does the new album have the same moody vibe as their older material? Tracks like Permanent, Dream of Me, Penance are absolute bangers. Hopefully the new album brings that same energy.

SYSTEMATIC got a lot of BMTH vibes, especially that pre breakdown is very similar to OBEY/PARASITE EVE pre breakdown.
To me, systematic sounds pretty Slipknot-ish

Such a brilliant album. I was not prepared for how insanely good it was. I loved You Are We and So What? But man this just felt like they hit their form even higher. It’s so good.

Both albums since then have a had a more clear direction and consistency in my opinion, you are we had some great tracks but a lot of it fell pretty flat into meh territory
I love that album, but I don't think they'll ever top _Brainwashed_

Its funny, I think it's one of their weakest albums ever, every song sounds exactly the same, except for a few maybe, and the lyrics theme overall... just cringe (my humble opinion of course)

It's a good album overall, but feels a bit short, as for their standards at least. It's 44 minutes long, shortest since The North stands for nothing (which is EP I guess), but it also includes a 'thank you message' which is 7 minutes long. 8/10 from me, also prefer it to listen on shuffle, since it's kind of a handbreak after 7 tracks
Yeh the last song is heartwarming etc... but like I’m never gonna listen again tbh so rather it be like a bonus track etc...

I really enjoyed this one compared to their last album. Also if you haven't listened to their previous albums, you should, they're just as enjoyable as this one, if not more, for me.

I always love the guitar work on while she sleeps and I rlly like this album and the previous one, anything before that I’m not so bothered about. just a personal taste but ive never been a big fan of the their group vocal style, just not my thing, but since so what their choruses are much better imo

The first 7 tracks are amazing. Sleeps society is also amazing. But division street and the end were both pretty blah to me. Still say the album is a solid 8.5/10
For me, it was The last two tracks, especially The End. I quite liked the idea of a Thank you, but the voiceovers didn't do it for me, cos they were over-distorted and unclear.
The last song dissapointed me, i wanted it to be the long epic ending track but it's only a pretty piano melody, nothing else

@@alexmcneill6251 it would have been better if they put the piano from the end as an outro in Call Of The Void, great album btw, much better than So What, that album was too electro and soft for me but this is more like You Are We, No Defeat is a banger.
@@ianrojas7124 This whole thing with 7 minute ending and emotional piano song is what makes this album feel so personal for me. They really do put soul in it and when they said that this album is more than just music they completely meant it and did it. What I'm trying to say is yeah, if you are listening to this album just for fun good metalcore songs then the whole thing with last song may seem dissapointing. But If you try to feel the whole message and atmosphere of this band it starts to play very different colors.

I was really anticipating this album because I was a fan of their previous album So What?. I thought all 3 singles for this album were really good however the whole rest of the album I was a little let down just because I had high expectations. The rest of the album was good but nothing that stood out to me. Maybe I’m being to harsh and I’ll have to see if this album grows on me after more play throughs but as of right now I’d give it a 7.5/10
Album of the year? Maybe you’re in the moment, but Erra would like a word...
This and Erra will certainly have a brawl in the top 5 AOTY contenders for me at the end of the year

Erra album was amazing but Sleeps have a lot more going on in their sound. I can listen to Sleeps albums over and over at anytime and enjoy them but Erra is a mood.

Same here man, was about to skip and listen to another new album but then the song with the sum 41 feature in it came and somehow I listened to the whole thing. But I don't like it that much, except some songs, relatively weak album for me aswell... :(

I'm not gonna lie. Compared to the last 3 albums, I'm finding this album kinda mid. Brainwashed was their peak for me, and this feels like several steps backwards.
It's fine, just nothing wows me here.
