kyrgios serves are long, fast, and really strong. when you know how someone’s serves are(especially kyrgios) you place yourself where the ball will go after it bounces. We do it a lot in tennis when someone has a great serve that wouldn’t get returned the same if it was close the the court.

Millimeter margins on deciding points (Hawk eye), crowd being WILD, Net cord on MP, Kyrgios wanting to retire atter 1st set, Nadal not playing on the speed of server, Nadal being furious on post match conference. Not to mention 2:20 , underarm serve, DF from Nadal to give Kyrgios MP, Kyrgios reaction towards part of the crowd after winning and EXCESSIVE GRUNTING FROM BOTH PLAYERS THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE MATCH. I mean for people who don't like Nadal it is like a match of the decade 😂

Normally players let Nadal perform his prepoint ritual of touching every part of his face before playing each point, but Kyrgios specifically doesn't give a shit, so he served pretty aggressively even as the judge observed that Nadal wasn't set to return. The judge told him to redo the point, so after Kyrgios whiffed his first serve he took his time switching out rackets before his second serve. It's within the rules but definitely BM, and Kyrgios probably didn't need to switch out rackets but just wanted to send a jab back at Nadal; "if you waste my time, I get to waste your time."

Pretty much since the start of the ATP cup he's been different. A lot of it has to do with the fact that he's playing for others (team tournament, raising money for the bush fires, etc). I can not stop hating Kyrgios after watching his today's match in Melbourne. He could put Nadal under pressure in every game but he doesnt do that. He dont attack the serve very well. Unnecessarily moves forward and sideways only to lose the time and puts himself under pressure. At last it was Nadal who lost his serve at 5-4. In the 4th set tie break his carelessness was out of the world. Sorry, in both 3rd set and 4th set tie breaks. Some people say that he doesnt have winning mentality. They are wrong.
