Jourgensen's Ministry performing "Just One Fix", one of the greatest industrial metal hits. Taken from "Sphinctour" live DVD/CD, recorded in 1996. Enjoy and comment!!
I’m a 42yr old black male living in inner city Detroit. Back in the early 90s, the FM radio station 88.7 aka 89X introduced me to Ministry, Skinny Puppy, NIN, Alice In Chains, Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden and I blast them still today from my car radio with pride and dignity in the hood. I love 90s grunge and Industrial music!
Keep the horns flying sir, metal will never go nowhere!! You have great taste my friend! Every bamd mentioned in your comment is grargly!! These guys, skinny puppy, A.I.C. is top #10 on my list!! #Keep it CRANKED SIR!!
Well it's a great stress reliever 😊 Wish I had a radio station here that played all that fun stuff.. I had to go to the local head shop to listen to the cool shit. There was no internet at the time so... life kinda sucked lol
Just saw this while reliving high school memories, so awesome that ministry is for all who care to listen. Much to learn from uncle al. I salute your honesty and hope we arrive at a day when everyone realizes, we’re all more alike than they want us to know! Much love from Texas! 🤘😝
I was at this tour, great to see ministry live. Loudest concert I have ever been to in my life. Which; is impressive since I saw Pantera with White Zombie, Slipknot, System of a Down, etc etc etc... My ears were ringing for three weeks.
yeah now concerts are "sound safe" I am still hearing impaired from Sphinctour Denver Coliseum 1996 LOUDEST Concert ever. I am so lucky to live when a rock concert was a fukin rock concert unsafe in so many ways mosh pit was a bruisin experience black eye and a limp for a week but it was worth it
Ministry was the fastest concert I’ve ever heard, like they played very fast. But it was also such a long performance, they played for about an hour of the greatest hits, took a break then played an hour of new stuff. It was great. Slipknot would be the loudest, like holy hell painfully loud in an arena
@@Rick-tf4dl When you get a black eye, it heals in a couple of days. When your limp heals, you're good as new. When your ears stop ringing you'll never hear that frequency again. If you're lucky and they stop ringing at all.
I just turned 68 and I saw Ministry live in Australia in 1994 . I had the D.V.D. of the Sphinctour and I thrashed it , now still enjoying the best of them live .
This is one of the most fucking awesome songs ever. Was my 'get hyped ' song back in the day. Before going surfing or snowboarding would listen to this track. Haven't listened to in years... but immediately propels me back in time and makes me want to shred.
I fell in love with ministry when this album came out...a few years ago I took up guitar and this was one of the first riffs I learned.. my neighbors were stoked!!
@@jdpiermancrow437 - I also saw Ministry with Sepultura and Helmet way back then, but in Vancouver BC as it was closer than Seattle, as I'm near Bellingham WA. My Dad even went with me to that concert!
When I needed to bring my A game to push for the next tournament or hit the next max lift this was one of my go to songs to get it done. This is one of those songs that can get you psyched for go time when you need serious go.
this is amazing live!!!!! I'm freaking out, its just as amazing as when I was hearing it for the 1st time in high school. The sound quality is great!!!! YESSSSSSSSSS just one fix
@@432htz3 dude, I always hear stories about 92' the lollapalooza tour and heard these wild shit when they perform, and alot of people say they are the loudest band ever.
@@oryanbegay7856 Yeah most definitely. I saw them play in front of 35,000 people at the " Big Day out " in 95 in Auckland NZ and it was without doubt the most powerful , trippy performance i had ever experienced . Lots of media {visual screens}and strobing lights and massive volume. They were the closing act and they tore the place up.
Still new to the metal world since, still discovering bands. Always heard about Ministry but never cared to look them up. JUST discovered Fear Factory about 2 months ago, give or take. Then, in the "recommended" of both Amazon and UA-cam, I keep seeing Ministry. Clicked on this vid and holy shit.... This is legit.
Patrick Lynn yeah I saw them with Sepultura and helmet back in the day it was the most intense show ever felt like I needed to go to Seance afterwards so intense rock on dude
Patrick Lynn yeaaaah, saw them in melbourne on the big day out tour -tail end of what you see here... as a 17yo i was COMPLETELY BLOWN AWAY!... ministry will always be king for me... i like SP/NIN etc... but this version of ministry was (and is/always will be) best band i've seen... (i saw skinny puppy in 2006) but the reality of that bdo in '95 gives me goosebumps... i only wish i could find some footage :( it was the 90s though, and what happened in the 90s..... stayed in the 90s ;)
Ahh, that is full on intense & I love it so, saw them at Sydney BDO after The Cult, whew!! was one of the best concerts EVER.,,, how could you forget?? Live music at it's best. Outdoors & Loud... Yes. :-)
How do the musicians, especially the drummer, keep going w/o a break? Amazing. Great song. Were great when they came here to Revolution with Revolting Cocks. Thanks for posting.
Drummers put out a lot of energy. I’m a guitar player and simply playing the instrument isn’t especially physically tasking. Unless of course you’re jumping around, head banging, as one does when performing live. But drummers, especially jazz, metal, punk rock, other styles where the drums are more complex than others, I have to believe are and have seen be super exhausted after shows. I think controlling your energy output, not putting it all out there in the first few songs, is probably important.
Ministry & Rammstein have both played in Australia for the Big Day Out, not the same year, but both were without a doubt the most awesome 2 bands I was lucky to see perform, ever. I feel stoked !! :)
Killer song this one. Prong and Ministry been a huge insperation for us, maby thats why our version of Just One Fix sounds like a mix of em both, hehe. JB // MMI

Hell yeah bruh
music was much better in the 90's
This song is a drug in itself. I’m immediately wired and turnt and able to do anything after those riffs kick in.
🤘💯😉
I ate Al Jorgensen's salami sandwich in an Austin TX jail cell when he was too busy vomiting and shivering. That might just be my career highlight.
Elaborate
Context please
Now that's a story that needs to be told.
You wouldn't make shit like that up,....
They don't serve salami in jail. It's bologna.
Ministry, Front Line Assembly and Gary Numan were the first bands I ever saw live, and it really was a great time.
My neighbors love it so much they're banging on the walls to tell me to turn it up!!
Back in my apartment the early 90s, Ministry and Skinny Puppy were the only 2 bands that made my neighbors do the same thing!

🙆♂️😅🤣
Love it man! The same in my appartment!!! Even with Sikth, they listen to one of real music, so !!! I believe 🤣🤣
Turn it up 🙄

The drug budget on this tour must have been astronomical.
Na, the tour bus had a spare tire full of smack from Mexico.

Wake up your neighbors to the beautiful sounds of Ministry !!
lol
Imagine if Layne Staley and AL could have done a track or 2. Damn masterpiece it would have been !!
Not a single cellphone in sight! Glorious times!
One of the best concerts I've ever attended. One of the bloodiest.
My absolutely favourite song by Ministry.
Never forget that in fact " hooking is the only salvation."
Lies, Lies, Lies.
“Gentlemen, we have called you together to inform you that we are going to overthrow the United States government.”
the greatest industrial song ever!
Just one of the best not only of Ministry but of ROCK at all.
R.I.P mike scaccia, you are missed.
Saw that show in Copenhagen, best concert ever!
Some happy tunes fun for the whole family
I saw this tour in Dallas. Tripping my fucking brains out!!!! Good acid was still plentiful back then.
There's enough energy there to power a small town...
Raw hard hitting perfection.
fuuuuuu
I remember discovering Ministry, my old mate Geoff Banks (RIP mate) ran a rock club in my town. This is.... there's no volume too loud to play this.

Just had to get my fix of Just one Fix. One of the most bad assed tunes from the 1990s.
Saw them with Sepultura and helmet most intense show ever felt like I needed to go to a seance afterwards Long Live Ministry
I was there too. In Seattle. Loudest show I have ever seen. Criminally underappreciated band; created and destroyed their own genre.

hail MINISTRY.
This is definitely the best live show I've ever heard!!!!!!... Totally fucking awesome.! I fucking love this band.!
Saw them at the State Theater in Detroit back in 1996. Best sounding band I've ever seen live.
Gotta love Al's fashions which range among;
Junkie Pirate
John Lennon-Undertaker
Hip Hop Hockey Guy
Fascist Policeman
And whatever in between.
Ahahah just love the description
Spot on
That kicked ass. Good ol' 90's mosh pit
One of the heaviest riffs of all time! Would love to someone like Slayer cover this song as an homage!
Black Sabbath- into the void
I think Sepultura covered it on "Kairos"
The emotion and power of the song.
Correct! The song "Du Hast"(and the entire band Rammstein) is 100% inspired by this song and this very Band!
Holy Crap, I just love his vocals.
Taking me back to long, long nights at Medusa’s, Neo, and Limelight/Excalibur
...and Smart Bar. And Exit.

Been a fan since ‘81
This band is responsible for most of my speeding tickets.

This band playing this song live was one of the best Big Day Out's I have ever witnessed... It was insane!.... Thank you.
