I've wondered why do we applaud Vader so much when he is the dark side of anakin, the part of him that was OK with all of these tragedies and the deaths of the younglings etc. I mean i can understand why because he's a clearly defined character that stays true to his character and never breaks it. But you know, are we applauding his eventual redemption or his Evil deeds? I mean i wouldn't irl be thrilled about youngsters dying you know.

The entire Clone War was just a tragedy. Both sides were pawns in a game that only a select few knew was even being played, and many people lost their lives all to accomplish the complete subjugation of the galaxy under Palpatine. I really like seeing these kind of videos that highlight this side of the conflict.
I mean, isn't every war a tragedy? The Galactic Civil War was even more destructive than the Clone Wars, especially since that war was not fought by expandable resources, therefore that war was even more tragic.
Yeah...you also forgot that during the clone wars anyone who learned the dark truth was immediately executed... or worse

I think Padames line at the death of the Republic, is the saddest line in all Star Wars. "So this is how liberty dies....with thunderous applause." She says it with such anger, and sadness at the same time. Everything that she's worked for her whole life has abruptly ended. Her heart was 1st broken by the Republic. Then later again by a guardian of that Republic....her husband.

This tribute and your reaction got me right in the feels. I would highly recommend the saga trailer from AD_Edits it's a pretty good video. I also did a double take during the intro when you "blamed Adam for this" i was like "what did i do i'm just watching videos?"
This tribute really broke my heart when I first watched... they were all pawns in Sidious’s game, poor clones I really feel for them after this amazing show. It was also like a farewell to general skywalker we love and respected. He was the biggest victim of this... it’s just so tragic. Star Wars is beautiful man...

The role that Star Wars has played in my life can't be described with words. For as long as I can remember (born in 96, so i was exposed to the OT first), star wars has been a constant. 24 years later, being able to see everything come full circle in videos like these just completes me. I get ridiculously emotional over this stuff too.

I became a total wreck at the point where Vader asked Palpatine about Padmé and the flashbacks hit the screen. Obi-Wan crying at Anakin on Mustafar... Man, the more I dive in the lore and grow older, the more these things hit me! I must say 'Thank you, Star Wars' but also WHY?!?
And as always, it's been a pleasure watching this with such a passionate fan of the franchise :)

Every time I see an emotional reaction to a Star Wars video, I just wanna hug the reactor and tell them its gonna be okay.
I was 25 when Revenge of the Sith came out, and it was the first time a Star Wars movie made me legit cry, seeing all the Jedi die, even though I knew it was coming.
They included a lot of quite recent lore expository in the form of Fallen Order and Rebels and the final season of Clone Wars, and made our favorite galaxy far, far away that much more emotionaly resonant. Hate seeing you cry, but it's a weird thing to say I actually look forward to someone actually showing emotion while watching something so visceral and uplifting.
If tyrannical empires are built on power, rebellious alliances are built on hope.
With that being said......prepare to laugh yourself silly with the hilarious parody that is Star Wars Robot Chicken. Im REALLY glad you're gonna react to that, and I cant wait to see you laugh until tears come out! I mean, if that sorta thing happens to you, but Robot chicken is really that funny!
