have you ever tried to lay your cut out lexan on top of the old glass and heat gun from under side starting in the center and working out to the end then go to the other side, do not try to put the heat gun on top of lexan. this will make your lexan window strong
They sell that trim for the edge of your door at walmart in the automotive section, it would be perfect around the edge of lexan windows to look just that much more professional

Just need to get enough interest in it and enough models to make it worthwhile.
steer clear of lexan for auto applications it can shatter and with sharp edges. look into Makrolon , it is shatter resistant, and has UV protection built into it ,and is scratch resistant, and comes in clear or a tinted version .
The back window looks awsome. I only hope that the aero drag around the car when racing, doesn't rip the sides loose of the back window. It looks like it still can catch some wind. Not bitching just curious.
Have you thought about tinting the whole window instead of paint. Would be really easy since it would be flat also it would look really good on the rides.
Can you not heat up the glass with a heat gun so that it forms the shape of the window? I don't see why everyone uses lexan and then rivets, just looks bad compared to just shaping the window and then gluing / siliconing the window on.
