Hunter, I've watched many of your videos, brother. Bottom line, you Rock! Your work ethic, quality consciousness, demeanor, patience, top-notch. I've been in sales & service for many years, over 20. The best advice I got from my mentor many years ago was this; Remember your not paying for or buying the service or product for the customer. Meaning, the cost is the cost, even if I think I wouldn't pay that much. Don't discount what YOU bring to the table. Sure other detailers may do a good job, but they are not YOU! God bless you and yours and to God all glory and praise! Peace.
Other than getting the hose connector turned around (watch out for that one), the machine is simple to put together and use ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP . And very nice, too. I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall. The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.
I appreciate your honesty to us watching, and learning along the way. I’ve been in the industry for over 25 years and really enjoy your channel. Keep up the hard work!
When the customer said “that’s it” that’s when you should’ve sold him ceramic coating for atleast 8-1,000$.. your response should’ve been well if you wanna take it a step up for the upmost gloss and protection we can ceramic coat your vehicle .. come on bro gotta sell it
That is a good idea. However, consider the current conditions. Ceramic coats require much more planning. They were already struggling with the sun and heat creating water spots. It’s too hot to apply ceramic. Also if you are going to charge $800-1000 for a ceramic coat, then it needs to be done properly… in a controlled environment (indoors) under a UV light to ensure equal and thorough application.
I’ve been watching your videos throughout the day since I’m thinking about re-opening my detail company I had back in high school. Nothing but great, solid advice. When you said “ You doin it brotha, im happy for you” I had to sub. Hell of a mindset and work ethic.

Here’s a top; Tire cleaner, one that states that it is safe on clear coat too, will take those water spots right off with a microfiber cloth. Work quick because that stuff is strong. Polishing afterwards will ensure they’re ALL gone. Another opportunity to upcharge because it produces visible results! You’ll impress your customers with this neat trick. Water spots are the most annoying pesky problem to deal with 😩
Ay for those water spots use your acid wheel cleaner 1:4 and wipe it on then wash it off with the pressure washer or wipe down with water to neutralize the acid
Here's a tip. For better results I don't apply wax in direct sunlight a portable canopy helps also my favorite cleaner wax for water spots is called TR3 by Blue magic no buffer needed When it's hot I'll wash in sections that way I conserve my supplies.
Hunter!!... I've been watching your channel until i end up subscribing!!.. you do a fantastic job on those vehicles, and the amount of work you put into getting it the way you do... man its unbelievable.. you also inspired me to even learn more about detailing than just scrubbing cars!!.. keep up the great work!!.. glory to God and continue to grind!!..🙏🏽🙏🏽
Those cleaner waxes really come in handy sometimes when you got waterspots, there are some sprays that remove them but not fully so I stick to cleaner wax, i love it. nice little job for $400+ 👍🏽
I pay attention to what people say yo my man there was nothing LITTLE about these 2 men job on that truck! You congratulated him yet you downplayed the amount of work… man beat it you ain’t slick 😮💨😆

Always notify your clients before hand that there's water spots after inspecting vehicle abs that this service won't remove it and there will be additional charges.
I think it’s definitely a good job for a full exterior detail I charge 300-500. It would be a 8 hr job depending on size of vehicle and that’s just the outside. I transform vehicles. It also depends on the condition of the vehicle for time
We will be on the roads from next week. Inahallah. Been watching your videos for nearly two weeks now. Thanks for all the information and motivation you throwing out for free. Love from Sydney. 3one3 MOBILE AUTO DETAILING.
I just got a new (to me) 2011 Camry and I’m definitely calling y’all to book a detail in & out! The previous owner had 4 kiddos who had a party in the back 😂
This is a craft - i up my rates to compensate my time overhead ,,,, truck insurance payroll... etc. little more then a kid in a CRV with a vacuum. Insurance ! LOVE BROTHER
I’m so confused on why u would “double up” leaving the contaminated soap on there with dirt then rubbing ur clay bar with the dirty soap and lubrications u used... I get you used a wax after but that doesn’t take off every starch and swirl you just added to the car 😭😭. First time seeing someone do this... there’s a reason you wash the car first then run the clay bar...
I use my clean and prep as the clay lube too. It loosens up the contamination for the clay bar and it also leaves a primer for my spray coating that I use. Garry Deans detail juice system is very efficient. I fly single so I use Garry’s infinite use detail juice as a rinseless wash to keep from spotting. Great job like always, Hunter! 👍 keep going, never stay comfortable!
If the water spots just appear from your wash then they will come off with clay. If they been there prior then they are a bit more set in and will need polish.
Theres a guy on youtube that made a video of a additive that is used in the detailing industry that takes those waterspots off and and protects the paint from that after its used

Hunter you have started your new journey. All you need is to connect with that persons friends etc. and you’re set. Stray away from the horrendous details & focus more on the more well-kept vehicles. Keep it up man you’re passion is admirable! You almost always lose money on the horrible vehicles unless you charge an arm & a leg. So be sure you charge enough to where u can still make good money on those vehicles. You offer a premium service which in turn requires a premium price tag!👍
Good job man get it God bless once you start getting a good reputation good customers start to call and willing to pay. Hope to get up there soon with the detailing part of my business still attempting to figure out my pricing but not simple with these customers in SF Bay area. I believe I'm fair in pricing compared to other detailers in area but not much. With time, patience and hard work it will turn around soon
Incorrect, he still performed several tasks, interior and exterior wash plus a clay bar and wax. The price point is not off, if anything he could’ve charged more for the water spot removal.
Love your channel Wayne 👍 Over here in the UK quite a few of us detailers use filtered water either from a filtered water station (much like a gas station) or using an on-board resin tank filtering system (and we think that 80 degrees is HOT😂!!). That would save you a huge amount of time and effort if you could find a local company that sells filtered water or setup an on-board filter. Koch Chemie FSE is also a great product to help prevent water spots. Regards from the UK and hats off to you and your men for managing to work in that heat! 😎

I’m that person that works too damn much, on a 24/7 schedule so I’m happy to pay someone. Now the prices depends on the job they do, I have yet to find someone to do a good gob. If it cost $400 bucks to get my truck looking sharp, then I’ll be happy to pay.

great channel ... i would get a larger van.. like a crafter or sprinter from mercedes... and put a 600 -800 liter tank in there .. and also put a high flow pressure washer or soft wash system pump ( water only ) for higher flow rate for much quicker rinsing and only use 000 ppm purified water .
I would’ve charged around the same but would have done rinseless wash and claybarred with rinseless also if it needed it instead of keeping it foamed up the whole time and wasting product/time. Will cut your time in almost half.
Wayne get yourself a step stool they sell at harbor freight on the cheap. This way you can work on top of them big trucks now problem. They are about 3 ft long by 1 food wide.
Hey bro. Just a quick question. Why are you not using deionized water instead of running around the vehicle to keep it from getting dried with chemicals. I see you do it couple of times. Is there a specific reason why you don't use it?
I appreciate the realness and authenticity of your content , I feel like I’m being told the real and honest truths about the detailing world and it’s a great feeling . Thank you!
435 is a little pricey . But it all depends on what state your at , we detail cars for 350 , for a polish , engine clean up , interior Steam clean , leather condition , And vacuum , and carpet clean , exterior , for 350$ . But it’s all depends on what state your at bc of the minimum wage difference and prices
The next step For hunter is CERAMIC COATING! the money is there for the taking! After the clay polish/wax the nedt step is ceramic. Extra $150-500 for a spray ceramic coat to protect and shine!
Wayne I noticed you almost always bust out the DA, have you tried HD SPEED? The company 3D makes it, its a true all in one polish and sealant. No fillers at all. I discovered it when I switched over to mobile. It is very easy to work with, it doesn't chalk up or sling, and it is reallllly sun friendly. Loved the vid, hope you get DI in the new van soon lol.
HD speed is now just 3D speed. While it is a great product, it definitely does act as somewhat of a filler. It’s like using something like Jescar power lock applied by machine. The sealants inside mask the hairline defects, protection isn’t the most durable, but 3D speed still without a doubt a good product.
do you test with your hand before you use clay to see if it definitely needs the mechanical decon? I get a little anxious with it on a black vehicle especially, marring etc
I charge the same price 390.00 cd to 500cd in and out I stared cleaning rids at 14 I'm now 60 and still Rocking the shop. Keep rocking out the rides way to go buddy :)
Just some constructive criticism or food for thought. You still the man my G..... 1) Get a five wheel dolly for your buckets for situations or days like this. It'll be your best friend for large vehicles. 2) I feel your wasting soap/product when you keep re-foaming to avoid water spots. Just wetting the paint should suffice. 3) Iron remover needs to be on direct paint and takes a minute or so to officially decontaminate. Putting it on the soap is a waste of product 4) Different clay bars/mitts for the type of claying required. Please make sure the vehicle even needs it and if so use the right bars/mitts accordingly. God bless bro, Keep grinding!
I spray iron remover let it sit 3 to 5 Mins and then I foam over it. Then clay while it’s still there doing it’s job. What you think about that. And I’m always open to listen Brotha it’s how I grow. Thanks for taking the time.
@@HuntersMobileDetailing Oh ok fasho! The editing of the video got me then lol. I would suggest to rinse the contaminates off before you foam and clay bro. I know you're always on a time crunch but "bringing" out the contaminates and claying over seems a little dangerous as far as marring goes. To each his own though and if there isn't any issues then keep doing your thing. Bless up!
No I need to hear that thanks 🙏🏾 always open to advice Brotha. That makes sense I’ll forsure start rinsing before claying. This is why I post I know I’m going to get advice on how to do better. This is my journey
i know u gotta work quick but honestly bro if your doing a wax after why u so worried about water spots. theoretically if your doin a proper machine wax it should remove the light ones that were left on from the detail. just how i been rockin and never had an issue. you can also always get a DI water plug but i cant find any unless i do it myself down here in florida

Simple solutions for dealing with the sun:
1. Buy a 10’x20’ pop up tent
2. Use ONR and DI water in your foam canon
3. A panel at a time
I do number 3 when washing my truck in t sun. It makes it take a lot longer but I don’t have to rush.
My point exactly 😎
Yea a canopy would help alot rather than waisiting alot of product
I use a chemical called "Formula 4 spray wax" by superior product as a drying aid. It helps prevent water spots. I use it especially on black vehicles
Where can you purchase??
ua-cam.com/video/tzLlo3ySIrs/v-deo.html here a video link of the product

I discovered it when I switched over to mobile. It is very easy to work with, it doesn't chalk up or sling, and it is reallllly sun friendly. Loved the vid, hope you get DI in the new van soon lol.
HD speed is now just 3D speed. While it is a great product, it definitely does act as somewhat of a filler. It’s like using something like Jescar power lock applied by machine. The sealants inside mask the hairline defects, protection isn’t the most durable, but 3D speed still without a doubt a good product.
Grwat product but it does have fillers. HD one does not
Love your vids and great job on the Yukon! Can you please share which polisher you used to get the water spots out? Thanks and take care!
Good job Wayne! Get it!
How much water do you use for a typical mid size sedan?
Where you get your towels?
Some people are just like that, money is no object to some. But you have to find the sweetspot, if you overcharge people will go somewhere else.
do you test with your hand before you use clay to see if it definitely needs the mechanical decon? I get a little anxious with it on a black vehicle especially, marring etc
Man you seem kool af! Nice job my dude
I charge the same price 390.00 cd to 500cd in and out I stared cleaning rids at 14 I'm now 60 and still Rocking the shop. Keep rocking out the rides way to go buddy :)
I do them for 150 all day long at my shop
Unless waterspots are fresh...they’re not coming out with a wash & clay. I don’t care what anyone says. You’re right👍
Just some constructive criticism or food for thought.
Putting it on the soap is a waste of product
4) Different clay bars/mitts for the type of claying required.
@@HuntersMobileDetailing 💯
i know u gotta work quick but honestly bro if your doing a wax after why u so worried about water spots. theoretically if your doin a proper machine wax it should remove the light ones that were left on from the detail. just how i been rockin and never had an issue. you can also always get a DI water plug but i cant find any unless i do it myself down here in florida
Truth!! It’s just a habit from bad experiences lol
You know that wax is not the same as polish correct?... like wax is not going to remove anything..
What’s up with U-haul? Are you still servicing their fleet?
I sure am stay tuned
Get a tent to cover the vehicle it helps keep the car cool n out the sun.
Using tap water gives you water spots
👍 you learn something from a viewer
My pops own a car wash he thought me that
Only way to get hard water spots is to buff it
Invest in DI water you make enough you need to use that then you don’t have to worry
What product did you use for your 1 step?
You can’t always give the family and homie price. How many hours did that vehicle take?
Looking good brother, What clay bar are you using?
