Bro no fucking way in hell… I just discovered your channel last night and in this video you’re detailing this 2006 Hummer. I sold this car to the customer!! And the wheels and wheel
Cover on the rear are the giveaway. That’s so wild

Other than getting the hose connector turned around (watch out for that one), the machine is simple to put together and use ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP . And very nice, too. I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall. The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.

The Hummer needs a “paint correction” to get those specks out. Clay bar only decontaminates the paint. Next step would be some compound & polish. The compound will get the specks out and polish will make it gloss again. Way to take an “L” and keep your head up 💪🏽. Paint corrections can cost $$$$. Next time let them know that clay bar only decontaminations the paint as prep for a polish or paint correction.

It's dying cuz the 12v water pump hooked to the water tank is running the battery down when he is parked and not idling his engine to keep things charged. He needs a separate 12v car battery hooked to the pump with a smaller solar panel charger to keep it charged

But the detailer should of had the experience to test his result on one panel as soon as he saw the overspray paint 11:45 Last time I worked on a car with the similar problem the caranuba paste wax removed the over spray. With overspray if you use a watered down acetone solution. If it’s bad use it with a clay mitt too

That hummer is old as fuck, after it was washed you can clearly see that it really isn't maintained properly. A way I alleviate this issue, is I always ask for the year make and model of the vehicle and last time it received a full detail. After that I quote them a range of what the price can be but I won't know for sure until I inspect the vehicle in person. That hummer obviously needs a new paintjob or pay high ticket for a full paint correction with sealant. I never start working on a vehicle until the customer is given all the information as to what may have to be done on their vehicle and what it may cost them. Cheers :)

Just said this to a customer yesterday this is very true ! Sometimes they won’t be happy but it’s better to charge appropriately especially when working alone.

I usually use paint thinner & spot buff or just wax the area afterwards at the dealership unless its primer overspray . If its primer or something else that's self etching I will wet sand 2,000 & work up to 8,000 grit & high speed buff afterwards..... anyways , you do awesome work !

Good job.. I really respect your work ethic. Keep working hard and being a roll model. I saw the videos with your kids working. That's great! Teach them that nobody owes them a living... there is too much of that crap being jammed down our kids throat in this day and age and that is just a failing attitude. Nobody owes you a living and you earn what you got. God bless

Hey so what I have used to get paint off is acetone. Use with a rag but follow after with a chamois. Don't let it sit on the paint or it can do damage.

Im Really liking how stoked this camera guy is for you and youre success by gritting you're teeth and persevering. It appears you maybe started off with the baisics and worked youre way up which is very admirable. Im really happy for you bro, you're positivety is contagious. As for the spots maybe look for a compound and polish with hi lubricating properties but bcarefull as the panel with spots has lip which will cut into the clear coat more when polishing. I think the spots maybe air bubbles trapped in the clear coat when it was applied by the factory. if so its already been compounded and polished and doing so again wont remove them. Their are paint depth guages that can tell you how much clear coat you have to work with before you hit the colour paint but theyre expensive. But would be really handy for you if were to offer a cut and polish service which will remove most of the swirling on most cars given theirs a safe layer of clearcoat already on the car to work with. Griots complete compound is quite good

Good stuff man. Enjoyed this video. I wish you and your company much success. I just learned how to do paint correction for myself only and just for fun. Yeah that will need compound and polish for sure. But bra he should have told you and that thing was already jacked long before you got to it. You did what you said, so your solid in my book. If I was near you i would come work for you for minimum wage. Retired and would keep me busy.. LOLOL

Really dig your vids man. Helps out a lot as I am just starting out over here in Maryland with a home detail shop. Much respect!!! What you think the pros and cons are doing mobile detailing compared to at home? I have had a few folks reach out and ask if I could provide mobile service but it just seems like so many hang-ups and a headache. I know you get more business but being a one man show i could see getting burnt out.

hey man...for spots with over spray like that you can do a light wet sand or compound and polish it out. I highly recommend 3M compound and polish! Been thinking of setting up my own detail business in the central valley You're an inspiration for sure! keep up the videos!

wet sanding is completely unnecessary. don't be removing excessive clear coat if you don't need to. our job as detailers is to preserve as much paint as possible
