What's the problem? The Democratic leadership have been very willing to risk it, knowing very well the majority/popular vote is meaningless, given the electoral college system. They have made their preference clear and been very half hearted making sure any DOJ action was slow, designed to hinder, but NOT STOP, Trump being on the ballot in November.They want him there, simply because they believe he is the easier candidate to beat. They forgot Trump doesn't have to win, he just has to stage a second coup of one sort or another. Most of the pieces are still in place, with almost nothing done to hinder or stop the MAGA crowd at state level ''correcting'' their ''mistakes'' on Jan 6 and the Supreme Court has not been hindered in showing its bias, helping Trump slow everything down.
