#1 issue, we can't accumulate shards. We HAVE to max a pile of teams, some of which are useless. #2 they stealth re-tuned it and it is significantly harder.
I think the biggest issue is star gating and communication. I think star gating makes it feel like you should get the character when you get the star levels. For communication, it's something you spoke about, they need to give a legendary road map
I hate the idea of having to do the node over and over and over again and again and again until I win one node and then the next one is the same dance. It’s mind numbing for me and I’m sure for others too. I want to win right away, not doing the same node again and again.

i feel you that they're definitely moving in that direction, but having played several other character collector games... MSF is still easily the most player friendly one. They communicate on a weekly basis with the weekly blog, give out tons of free stuff even if its not always the best free stuff, its possible to both unlock and gear up new characters when they come out, whereas most other games have a hard exclusivity on unlocking without spending for like the first 3 months, and dont allow you to gear them up past a certain point if they aren't a certain star level or whatever. Plus the fact that Scopely makes some sort of update to make the grind less awful at least once a month, is insane. Sure they power creep the game insanely fast, sure they release characters at a ridiculous pace... but it is technically at least somewhat possible to keep up with it and be able to at least play with all the new toys (barring DD). Cuz most games you not only can't even keep up with unlocking things, but you even fall further and further behind.
I would add that for midgame players who are not necessarily expecting to max everything the star-gating is more impactful than you suggest. If i have everyone needed at 5+* but captain Carter is only 4* then i could certainly build the characters up enough to do difficulty 11. And this is not a fringe example but is reflective of engaged players who started playing Q1 this year.
I think communicating and allowing players to know what to plan for goes directly against Scopely's business strategy. They are in the business of maximizing frustration and their threshold for "not worth it" is much higher than those of us on the other side of things.
They won't increase communication, that's just the other side of the FOMO financial equation. If we're in the dark, we won't be fully prepared for the events when they happen. We won't be able to complete them as easily, and we'll constantly be playing catch up... and we'll never be able to reach that carrot at the end of the string.
I’ve basically given up on the bio cosmic node because I do not have scrull so I’m using the team you were showing us with nova instead and I get smashed because photon is so super squishy. Plus, I don’t wanna building up these characters and then not using them later for anything…
My biggest issue is its just RNG and you gotta sit there and restart over and over until the rng treats you right. I'm a returning player that started again last december, in this time I've gone from lvl 82 with 5 mill tcp to 100 with 40 mill tcp. mostly only focused on new meta teams except the horseman teams. Following your guide I quickly realized I could not do diff 14 with most of my teams being 95 and gt 18. So I dropped it to 13 in hopes i could atleast get milestone 13, and again I struggled alot and after alot of restarts I decided to jump down to 12 thinking this should be pretty easy. With my chars being just tier down from the max I should be able to do the difficulty 3 notches down right? no even here I have to struggle and restart until the rng treats me right. at one try on the cosmic bio node the the fights start with Toad jumping around on my guys not really doing anything, but wait here comes dark beast assist and he ONESHOT a 500k Super-Skrull with no debuffs, so had to do another restart on the fight and eventually got through it with atleast a few cosmic bio alive. Into node 4 with a 1.8 mill spider society + BK just to die over and over again. I feel like they could remove difficulty 11, 12 and 13, because if you want to build your toons strong enough to complete diffculty 12 they have to be as strong as they do for difficulty 14, you just need rngesus on your side.
Yea im one of those languishing in d12 without skrull, g18 nova, and i do enjoy war. So i have a g16 cosmo and korg. With vk and photon. I have made it thru node 3 a couple times. But never with enough left for the second cosmic bio node. Ah well. Ill keep trying of course. But i didnt have oml before this. So im content with his existence in my roster 😂 cheers. It should either be like the old legendaries like Magneto or Phoenix or it should be like the repeating trials like the horseman where you can slowly get them over 2 or 3 or 4 runs. I knew it would be like this. Id rather just have it be you need 7 stars on all 25 of these characters, then you just auto the nodes rather than you need 7 stars on these 10 characters, but those plus another 20 all need to be 95+ and G18 at a bare minimum.
I was upset at first but then I remembered he is a top 5 character and it NEEDS to be hard to get him maxed out. Everyone shouldnt be able to just get OML at 7y4r because they are a high level. I put a lot of time into the game and watch a lot of YT vids to help me. Why should someone else who only plays, as you said, "on the john at work" get the same character I do? They shouldn't! You get out what you put in!
Great video. And as someone who got their 7 star OML, I did not like the event. They mislead us. This wasn't only 2 required teams built to lvl 100, it was 3 plus Sus and some knowhere. And if you're a newer player you need to have enough for a few sac teams too. I don't mind making it hard, but then don't make the node restricted like hero skill where you basically give us one team to use.
Funny thing is I came back like a month ago after quitting a few years back when the level cap just rose to 75. The first dark dimension came out with Ultron like a few months before and I think Phoenix was the newest legendary. We were all *itching at Scopely back then too. So all this is kinda par for the course for all my time playing this game so I’m not even that bothered about all the new issues because I was already expecting it 😅
I couldn’t pull the ult on second lizard unless I brought in a big team. Been playing for three years I just had to deal with the ult on SS and BK. Feel like they manipulated the AI for the second lizard. My hard stop was the villian node. The nova just destroys any team I bring in. However I don’t have S6 at lvl 100 yet.
I was so excited to have all my characters able to do level 15 but damn its way to hard . I am someone who watches all your videos and spend money . I am very upset been trying over and over and just cant get past the event really disappointed .
Hey there actually is! Check out the new player guide for a 1 node D15 trick! Don’t need 7* on the input teams just a somewhat beefy (1M ish) Xtreme or spider society. Can even widdle it down with a few attacks!
I don’t like the tension with the upgrade tokens. I was able to get the unlock and planned on using OML for legendary section for DD6. But if i want to do that which it sounds like I need skrull for a bigger Logan, then I still have to use a lot of gold and training mods to bring him up, which then the further bonuses you get in gear tier and level from the higher tokens is moot. So much poor planning or design, and bad communication/ fomo, is keeping me from spending.
Personally I am a mid to end game player, level 94 19 million collection power. Managed to cheese oml with the first round at level 14 got 1.1 million in the end and unlocked oml. It took me ages and a fair few resets, plus a few teams to beat it but it is possible.

@@thienlieu7114keep at it! I have a 700k spider society amongst other high level toons, specifically kang at 7 red and 7 yellow, purple tier iso and he definitely helps alot. My main suggestion is make sure whatever teams you use they have good synchronisity. My masters of evil with doom helped too!
The problem is that (whether the players voice or just the community as a whole) no action was taken or not enough action was taken. Scopely doesn't understand, more realistically doesn't care, that "the community doesn't like this". That means nothing to them. Real action is necessary now, because we let Cpt Brexit Card go, we let Ares be purchase only as well... they changed the pocket dimension they were trying to gate, but i assume that they changed the rewards drastically after "listening to the community". But we have left the door open for them to do this at will now...because they no nothing will really be done other than losing some players. But i would guess they've done the math and it doesnt matter if they lose so many players, because they still made money in the end.
Bought the missing Leader shards I needed, thinking the stargating was the only thing keeping me from a 7YS OML only to be unable to get past the Spooder Society node because my Penni is only 5YS and unable to land any debuffs. Pick one: Stargate it or make it a test of brute strength.
Even tho I was able to get him I still feel it was a little to much, like dorky I don’t really mind the difficulty but the teams especially Cosmic bio. It is hard to go for the hack on the first node but it’s possible. Even a 4Y4R OML still wrecks.
At least this event uses SOMEWHAT useful characters. I will never in my life have a 7 star black cat. I will not spend hundreds of dollars in gold and gear building the garbage teams needed for her and it's the same thing, all or nothing for 7 stars. The second they changed that people could just farm the legendary over 4-5 events it need be they basically added another pay to play feature.
As Dorky pointed out, these teams are useful now. Will Out of Time be worth the investment next year? If the next legendary, Mephisto and Odin are much stronger, will you want to invest a lot in Skrull?
Yeah I hadn't unlocked Nova yet - I literally went through his event yesterday (thankfully it was running...), and there's zero chance I'll have skrull before this is over... I've spent SO much time and energy on that one damn node, it's ridiculous. I've dumped gear and T4s and everything into multiple toons trying to get through it, this is complete BS.
Most of my roster is 7 yellow 7 red+ and I'm struggling. Literally have to get everyone to lv 100 and full T4s to even have a slight chance. They made it way too hard
I'm a pass buyer non-whale account and I thought it was fine. Litterally almost everyone was able to unlock OML, not every player should get OML at 7 stars 2nd run in my opinion.
I am level 96 don't have scroll and I am stuck on thr cosmic node got all the way to it on level 14. And had no chance so went down all the way to 11 and still can't get past it tbh it's a joke they should have said u need him as I could have spent my time trying to get through DD to unlock him
Node four drove me bonkers and I'M A GAMER. Iused to finish top of my shard in Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes. Im not a newbie and that node was annoying. Finished that off and didn't have Namors cooldown available for a later node and had to start over... finished him but it wasnt 'fun'.
Cosmic Bio was the biggest annoyance for me as a newer I guess "midgame" player. I didn't have all the new teams built up last time for Logan, so I prepped everything they mentioned to and pumped it all up, but at no point in their stupid blogs did they mention cosmic bio and I was so annoyed when I came across the node because everything else was ready to go. And now I'm scrambling to build my Nova higher and level up terrible Illuminati characters that MIGHT work in place of Skrull which I definitely do not have yet. It's not exactly a common trait for a node. These aren't everyday characters and I think it certainly should have been more emphasized beforehand. Now I've just given up. I got the basic 4 star version with the Spider Society cheese and I'm gonna wait for the third time around. Got better things to worry about because I do not have anywhere near the training materials to get this done in time.

I basically need to level everything, I'm level 96 but my characters are waaaaay behind because I had to build wide and build all these silly teams like New Avengers rather than build characters up to the levels they could be at. I just churn through training modules and gold as soon as I get them but catching up seems impossible when every week now they're saying I have to prep three new teams for the next event.
But then what would be the difference between dropping the stats on subsequent runs and providing shards instead of tokens so we can shard-build on easier difficulties? They specifically disabled the easier way of maxing a character so no way are they going to reduce stats on subsequent runs to make it easier and easier for lesser built teams to get the max stars. I'm currently stuck on exactly that node on Difficulty 14 because most of my Spider Society members still have just 5 stars. But I'm desperate to do that difficulty because OML's time in the sun is waning and I need as much power on him as soon as possible. I've tripple exhausted but I just don't do enough damage and all the burnt abilities come back. It's looking like I will have to drop to difficulty 13 sadly and I'm guessing even that will require reloads.
I'm only lvl 96 so there is no way I'm going to get more than 4y1r so I'm not even putting resources in out of time and cabal. I'm just going to focus on ss for now
I have level 95 characters getting one shot in difficulty 12. Cant even get a 5 star OML. My OOT is not built up well except BK, but I finally got through it, to hit the wall right after where my nova, who is lvl 90 7y4r gets one shot. Seriously irks me. I am not calling for nodes to be autoable, but at least beatable
Bro even difficulty 14 would be better, the difference between the 2 are insane…. I gave up only because I do not have enough “maxed” bio-Cosmic toons I can prolly do every other node but that shit is insane
I'm an end game f2p player and I have no desire to get all those characters up to level 100, GT18/19 and have at least 1 diamond on them. It's a waste of my resources to get junk characters up that high.
As a player who missed out on the first run of OML trial, I'm just happy I even got him unlocked, but knowing how low Scopely is becoming, not only with the bullshit characters they've released *cough* Black Knight, but with the stupidly specific requirements, like, Skill Hero might as well said Spider Society along with Cosmic Bio say Skrull, and NOW I'm just figuring out you HAVE to have 7 star characters that some of them, they don't even make a damn difference in their team, talking to you, Starbrand This is just fucked up, Scopely, not only do you have incompetent people who make bullshit characters and messed up challenges, you also don't clearly give a fucking rat's ass for newer or mid game players, but care about the people who want to waste their paychecks and life savings for a fucking mobile game I really didn't mean to rant, vent or any of that, I'm just frustrated that this company wants to be a better game than Galaxy of Heroes, when they're stooping to their levels
I will say you definitely don't need to max OOT to get a 7 star. Only one I had at level 100 was BK. He was 7y 6r gt 19, cap was lv 95 gt 18, cgr gt 16, peggy gt 15, and starbrand gt 14 and I got it.
me as a mid-low pro gamer of this game when playing F2P past level 50 and now 2 levels to level 80. this trial is pretty unfair. 1.1million points to get old man Logan? my Xtreme Xmen or my spider society can't go past difficulty 15 or 14 node while having them on gear14. heck none of the previous difficulties would automatically reach me to a million in one go. its like as if the trail is only for hardcore whales or hardcore f2p players not new players who just reached level 50
I finished it on difficulty 15, all but 4 mods were checked. I didn't have to do the last 2 nodes. I'm mostly a F2P, BUT... I did level up Knowhere when they came out. I had to cancel a lot of battles. Got it done though. I honestly feel rewarded for leveling up Knowhere.
Yea and that’s a good feeling imo. And this being the second run it’s okISH that’s the highest unlock is super tough still. I just wish communication would come about the future of the OML unlock.
3 difficulties : 1 for begginers, not necessary unlocking character; 2 for midplayers, unlock the character and make it playable; 3 for endgamer player, max the character and after that, give extra gear, diamonds and extra mats for competing whales/krakens. But you need to know how your game is played, not only max out your testing.
No, average players do not want to and will not know how the game is played. Too many characters, too many skills and gimmicks, and some people play several games or have a busy life. Not getting through the last node in an event at very hard difficulty is something they can live with, but simply unlocking the character at six-seven yellow stars should not be this difficult. If it is, at least communicate that the third run will be easier. Unless you do not care about players trying and then abandoning the game.
The latest Difficulties of OML trial are not made for newer players, it is made for people that are already in the endgame. Like those "nodes require those specific toon to go through" is nothing new, look at Black Cat Trial, what are you expecting to do in Global Controler? Going through those without Omega Red, Doom and MLF is just suicide (okay, now there is OML but if you are starting the trial, the chance you already own OML is close to zero), same thing with Green Goblin what are you expecting to do without Sinister Six for City Villain or Xtrem Xmen for Global Blaster? You "need" spider society for hero city nodes? of course, but if you don't have maxed spider society, at this point, you are just not at the level for OML trial in the first place because you need the spiders for literally everything (incursion, spotlight raid, satellite...) you have spider society build and still get wrecked? the problem is more likely the player, i did not recalled the node, i went it, i got wrecked the first time, took 5 minutes to think what went wrong with the nodes, and decided that doing some sac to get ride of the lizard moves is the right move, the fight went waaaay better. That just required understanding the node content and how to go through using what you have available. Same idea for Cosmic bio, yes going without Skrull right now for the latest difficulties is just suicide BUT, if you don't have Skrull yet, you are just not at the level to do the latest difficulties of the OML trial, they are NOT made for you yet The nodes are hard and need to think a bit? That good, it is not different from the previous trials, casuals get to cruise through every content until the end game, so there is a need to be a "wall" at some point so they have to start thinking "damn, that thing is hard, i need to do something beside auto". It remind me of some people i saw asking about why they get wrecked on the apocalypse saga, when the problem was they took random mix of characters without worrying about synergy or how good the character is. Like at this point, when you reach the "end game" (basically after apocalypse unlock), G18 is the minimum you need characters to be usable (and it is not that hard to get it when you reach level 95-100, as they give out quite a bit of teal gear in event), i would even add blue iso 4, if you don't have the toon at that level that fit the requirements, then you are just not ready for OML trial last few difficulties, a "Super end game" content, and that fine, learn from the experience and you'll be ready for the next time.
I'm piss off myself. I think I'm a midgame person, and it makes no sense to me to build up all these characters just for that event. Half the time I'm lost. If I don't watch yall guys on UA-cam, I wouldn't know what to do. I don't have all the time in the whole to study this game. Also, the shard drop is ridiculous. I love this game, but sometimes I think the company does gear this game for a person who has bigger characters, which can be demotiving and makes me feel like quitting. I had at a time stop playing the game, and then I picked it back up. Scoply needs to make the difficult of the event based on the players account level. I find so everyone can enjoy and get characters.
Horrible comms, horrible design - bit from column A and bit from column B. Struggling on diff 14 node 4 despite having 2m spider society due to low stars as they came out during a period when I was not on as much and considering quiting
Because i don't have skrull the cosmic bio section for me was a disaster, void knight apart from his ultimate wasn't doing anything, mr fantastic and black bolt look like garbage, Nova doesn't have enough red stars to make him impactful, most of these characters are G17 apart from captain marvel and nova who are G16, i had out of time and cabal at 6 stars thinking i had a chance to get a 6 star Logan, all i could get was 2 red stars to add to the 4 yellow stars, i won't put any more resources into cosmic bio characters which do not help my account, im done with this garbage event.
I forgot about Peggy Carter I've been rushing Emma and leader who were the last two. I've only been playing 6 months. The crucible store is killing me . I think she needs to be moved to blitz store, we really need ppl in raid store

I think its OK they ask you to beat max difficulty for max stars. Its still top 3 character in the game. They can change it down the line. Community just likes to QQ about everything. 1st they cant get into last difficulty, now last difficulty is hard, after that we dont want to upgrade all characters. It seems to me ppl dont even want to play the game and just complain about everything.
I too am ok with this run being just as hard as the last to get the max stars. I just don’t think it’s healthy for the NEXT run, or for when this goes permanent like the other legos to require the max difficulty. And honestly we don’t know if that’s the case and that’s the real issue. Scopely just needs to communicate with people so expectations are known and people don’t go unhinged

Yes, that's by design. Bc some ppl (like me) got GGC to 7ys, never built NA beyond minimum needed for showcase (lvl 75, g14, no T4s)

Agreed. I play for "fun" (when time permits) which has been increasingly challenging as of lately. Round 3 better be easier

Level 100, gear tier 18, blue iso 5 on all the latest teams and I can't sniff 5 yellow on OML

Hey there actually is! Check out the new player guide for a 1 node D15 trick! Don’t need 7* on the input teams just a somewhat beefy (1M ish) Xtreme or spider society. Can even widdle it down with a few attacks!

I don’t like the tension with the upgrade tokens. I was able to get the unlock and planned on using OML for legendary section for DD6. But if i want to do that which it sounds like I need skrull for a bigger Logan, then I still have to use a lot of gold and training mods to bring him up, which then the further bonuses you get in gear tier and level from the higher tokens is moot. So much poor planning or design, and bad communication/ fomo, is keeping me from spending.

Personally I am a mid to end game player, level 94 19 million collection power. Managed to cheese oml with the first round at level 14 got 1.1 million in the end and unlocked oml. It took me ages and a fair few resets, plus a few teams to beat it but it is possible.
@@samgrange4263 I was also thinking the same, I tried but the enemies kept raising and generating a lot, it took me an hour to clear half of it, then I gave up
@@thienlieu7114keep at it! I have a 700k spider society amongst other high level toons, specifically kang at 7 red and 7 yellow, purple tier iso and he definitely helps alot. My main suggestion is make sure whatever teams you use they have good synchronisity. My masters of evil with doom helped too!

I enjoyed it, did difficulty 13 struggled a bit but got oml without looking at guides. Missing out on a red star but oh well I’ll get it next time
The problem is that (whether the players voice or just the community as a whole) no action was taken or not enough action was taken. Scopely doesn't understand, more realistically doesn't care, that "the community doesn't like this". That means nothing to them. Real action is necessary now, because we let Cpt Brexit Card go, we let Ares be purchase only as well... they changed the pocket dimension they were trying to gate, but i assume that they changed the rewards drastically after "listening to the community". But we have left the door open for them to do this at will now...because they no nothing will really be done other than losing some players. But i would guess they've done the math and it doesnt matter if they lose so many players, because they still made money in the end.
even with my skrull at G18 he struggled at diff 13/4
I'm really struggling with this event. Only trying to get OML up to 5 yellow and can't get past the first Cosmic Bio node at Lvl 11. So frustrating
Bought the missing Leader shards I needed, thinking the stargating was the only thing keeping me from a 7YS OML only to be unable to get past the Spooder Society node because my Penni is only 5YS and unable to land any debuffs. Pick one: Stargate it or make it a test of brute strength.
Even tho I was able to get him I still feel it was a little to much, like dorky I don’t really mind the difficulty but the teams especially Cosmic bio. It is hard to go for the hack on the first node but it’s possible. Even a 4Y4R OML still wrecks.
Sad I was lucky to get to milestone 3. I have what I thought would allow me to at least open up Logan even at lowest, gee was I super wrong
At least this event uses SOMEWHAT useful characters. I will never in my life have a 7 star black cat. I will not spend hundreds of dollars in gold and gear building the garbage teams needed for her and it's the same thing, all or nothing for 7 stars. The second they changed that people could just farm the legendary over 4-5 events it need be they basically added another pay to play feature.
As Dorky pointed out, these teams are useful now. Will Out of Time be worth the investment next year? If the next legendary, Mephisto and Odin are much stronger, will you want to invest a lot in Skrull?

Yeah I hadn't unlocked Nova yet - I literally went through his event yesterday (thankfully it was running...), and there's zero chance I'll have skrull before this is over... I've spent SO much time and energy on that one damn node, it's ridiculous. I've dumped gear and T4s and everything into multiple toons trying to get through it, this is complete BS.
Most of my roster is 7 yellow 7 red+ and I'm struggling. Literally have to get everyone to lv 100 and full T4s to even have a slight chance. They made it way too hard
I'm a pass buyer non-whale account and I thought it was fine. Litterally almost everyone was able to unlock OML, not every player should get OML at 7 stars 2nd run in my opinion.
I am level 96 don't have scroll and I am stuck on thr cosmic node got all the way to it on level 14. And had no chance so went down all the way to 11 and still can't get past it tbh it's a joke they should have said u need him as I could have spent my time trying to get through DD to unlock him

Node four drove me bonkers and I'M A GAMER. Iused to finish top of my shard in Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes. Im not a newbie and that node was annoying. Finished that off and didn't have Namors cooldown available for a later node and had to start over... finished him but it wasnt 'fun'.
Cosmic Bio was the biggest annoyance for me as a newer I guess "midgame" player. I didn't have all the new teams built up last time for Logan, so I prepped everything they mentioned to and pumped it all up, but at no point in their stupid blogs did they mention cosmic bio and I was so annoyed when I came across the node because everything else was ready to go. And now I'm scrambling to build my Nova higher and level up terrible Illuminati characters that MIGHT work in place of Skrull which I definitely do not have yet. It's not exactly a common trait for a node. These aren't everyday characters and I think it certainly should have been more emphasized beforehand.
Now I've just given up. I got the basic 4 star version with the Spider Society cheese and I'm gonna wait for the third time around. Got better things to worry about because I do not have anywhere near the training materials to get this done in time.
Global blaster for black cat trials was a real nasty stipulation too.
@@prep91579 Oh I still don't have that one done because of the Mystic Villain node or whatever it is. I basically need to level everything, I'm level 96 but my characters are waaaaay behind because I had to build wide and build all these silly teams like New Avengers rather than build characters up to the levels they could be at. I just churn through training modules and gold as soon as I get them but catching up seems impossible when every week now they're saying I have to prep three new teams for the next event.
The game is no longer player friendly. The constant new releases with content locked behind new characters and star gated? Its too much.
But then what would be the difference between dropping the stats on subsequent runs and providing shards instead of tokens so we can shard-build on easier difficulties? They specifically disabled the easier way of maxing a character so no way are they going to reduce stats on subsequent runs to make it easier and easier for lesser built teams to get the max stars.
I'm currently stuck on exactly that node on Difficulty 14 because most of my Spider Society members still have just 5 stars. But I'm desperate to do that difficulty because OML's time in the sun is waning and I need as much power on him as soon as possible. I've tripple exhausted but I just don't do enough damage and all the burnt abilities come back. It's looking like I will have to drop to difficulty 13 sadly and I'm guessing even that will require reloads.

I have level 95 characters getting one shot in difficulty 12. Cant even get a 5 star OML. My OOT is not built up well except BK, but I finally got through it, to hit the wall right after where my nova, who is lvl 90 7y4r gets one shot. Seriously irks me. I am not calling for nodes to be autoable, but at least beatable
Bro even difficulty 14 would be better, the difference between the 2 are insane…. I gave up only because I do not have enough “maxed” bio-Cosmic toons I can prolly do every other node but that shit is insane
I'm an end game f2p player and I have no desire to get all those characters up to level 100, GT18/19 and have at least 1 diamond on them. It's a waste of my resources to get junk characters up that high.
As a player who missed out on the first run of OML trial, I'm just happy I even got him unlocked, but knowing how low Scopely is becoming, not only with the bullshit characters they've released *cough* Black Knight, but with the stupidly specific requirements, like, Skill Hero might as well said Spider Society along with Cosmic Bio say Skrull, and NOW I'm just figuring out you HAVE to have 7 star characters that some of them, they don't even make a damn difference in their team, talking to you, Starbrand
This is just fucked up, Scopely, not only do you have incompetent people who make bullshit characters and messed up challenges, you also don't clearly give a fucking rat's ass for newer or mid game players, but care about the people who want to waste their paychecks and life savings for a fucking mobile game

I will say you definitely don't need to max OOT to get a 7 star. Only one I had at level 100 was BK. He was 7y 6r gt 19, cap was lv 95 gt 18, cgr gt 16, peggy gt 15, and starbrand gt 14 and I got it.

me as a mid-low pro gamer of this game when playing F2P past level 50 and now 2 levels to level 80. this trial is pretty unfair. 1.1million points to get old man Logan? my Xtreme Xmen or my spider society can't go past difficulty 15 or 14 node while having them on gear14. heck none of the previous difficulties would automatically reach me to a million in one go. its like as if the trail is only for hardcore whales or hardcore f2p players not new players who just reached level 50
I finished it on difficulty 15, all but 4 mods were checked. I didn't have to do the last 2 nodes. I'm mostly a F2P, BUT... I did level up Knowhere when they came out. I had to cancel a lot of battles. Got it done though. I honestly feel rewarded for leveling up Knowhere.
Yea and that’s a good feeling imo. And this being the second run it’s okISH that’s the highest unlock is super tough still. I just wish communication would come about the future of the OML unlock.

That’s irrelevant in today’s OML event as every required toon is farmable.
3 difficulties : 1 for begginers, not necessary unlocking character; 2 for midplayers, unlock the character and make it playable; 3 for endgamer player, max the character and after that, give extra gear, diamonds and extra mats for competing whales/krakens. But you need to know how your game is played, not only max out your testing.
No, average players do not want to and will not know how the game is played. Too many characters, too many skills and gimmicks, and some people play several games or have a busy life. Not getting through the last node in an event at very hard difficulty is something they can live with, but simply unlocking the character at six-seven yellow stars should not be this difficult. If it is, at least communicate that the third run will be easier. Unless you do not care about players trying and then abandoning the game.
The latest Difficulties of OML trial are not made for newer players, it is made for people that are already in the endgame.
Like those "nodes require those specific toon to go through" is nothing new, look at Black Cat Trial, what are you expecting to do in Global Controler? Going through those without Omega Red, Doom and MLF is just suicide (okay, now there is OML but if you are starting the trial, the chance you already own OML is close to zero), same thing with Green Goblin what are you expecting to do without Sinister Six for City Villain or Xtrem Xmen for Global Blaster?
You "need" spider society for hero city nodes? of course, but if you don't have maxed spider society, at this point, you are just not at the level for OML trial in the first place because you need the spiders for literally everything (incursion, spotlight raid, satellite...)
you have spider society build and still get wrecked? the problem is more likely the player, i did not recalled the node, i went it, i got wrecked the first time, took 5 minutes to think what went wrong with the nodes, and decided that doing some sac to get ride of the lizard moves is the right move, the fight went waaaay better. That just required understanding the node content and how to go through using what you have available.
Same idea for Cosmic bio, yes going without Skrull right now for the latest difficulties is just suicide BUT, if you don't have Skrull yet, you are just not at the level to do the latest difficulties of the OML trial, they are NOT made for you yet
The nodes are hard and need to think a bit? That good, it is not different from the previous trials, casuals get to cruise through every content until the end game, so there is a need to be a "wall" at some point so they have to start thinking "damn, that thing is hard, i need to do something beside auto". It remind me of some people i saw asking about why they get wrecked on the apocalypse saga, when the problem was they took random mix of characters without worrying about synergy or how good the character is.
Like at this point, when you reach the "end game" (basically after apocalypse unlock), G18 is the minimum you need characters to be usable (and it is not that hard to get it when you reach level 95-100, as they give out quite a bit of teal gear in event), i would even add blue iso 4, if you don't have the toon at that level that fit the requirements, then you are just not ready for OML trial last few difficulties, a "Super end game" content, and that fine, learn from the experience and you'll be ready for the next time.
They make more money this way.
I'm piss off myself. I think I'm a midgame person, and it makes no sense to me to build up all these characters just for that event. Half the time I'm lost. If I don't watch yall guys on UA-cam, I wouldn't know what to do. I don't have all the time in the whole to study this game. Also, the shard drop is ridiculous. I love this game, but sometimes I think the company does gear this game for a person who has bigger characters, which can be demotiving and makes me feel like quitting. I had at a time stop playing the game, and then I picked it back up. Scoply needs to make the difficult of the event based on the players account level. I find so everyone can enjoy and get characters.

Because i don't have skrull the cosmic bio section for me was a disaster, void knight apart from his ultimate wasn't doing anything, mr fantastic and black bolt look like garbage, Nova doesn't have enough red stars to make him impactful, most of these characters are G17 apart from captain marvel and nova who are G16, i had out of time and cabal at 6 stars thinking i had a chance to get a 6 star Logan, all i could get was 2 red stars to add to the 4 yellow stars, i won't put any more resources into cosmic bio characters which do not help my account, im done with this garbage event.
I forgot about Peggy Carter I've been rushing Emma and leader who were the last two. I've only been playing 6 months. The crucible store is killing me . I think she needs to be moved to blitz store, we really need ppl in raid store

I think its OK they ask you to beat max difficulty for max stars. Its still top 3 character in the game. They can change it down the line. Community just likes to QQ about everything. 1st they cant get into last difficulty, now last difficulty is hard, after that we dont want to upgrade all characters. It seems to me ppl dont even want to play the game and just complain about everything.
I too am ok with this run being just as hard as the last to get the max stars. I just don’t think it’s healthy for the NEXT run, or for when this goes permanent like the other legos to require the max difficulty. And honestly we don’t know if that’s the case and that’s the real issue. Scopely just needs to communicate with people so expectations are known and people don’t go unhinged
