I have a 2019 370Z 6MT sports pkg that has a Stillen Gen 3 intake, a Fast Intentions x-pipe dual exhaust and an EcuTek tune on a Dynojet chassis dyno. We got a peak rwhp gain from 281 to 321 with a uniform 15% gain in torque across the whole rev range. I told the tuner that I didn't want the knock sensitivity reduced, just to chase a few extra peak hp numbers, so he played it safe on the timing corrections. The car feels very strong now at all rpms and the engine is still running very cleanly, as it had been doing before with hardly any soot residue on the insides of the exhaust tips.
That’s good to know. Im actually planning to buy the F.I, x-pipe & the stillen gen 3 as well as the EcuTek. I have a 2013 6 speed 370z. Im aiming for 40-50whp gains. This is good news to hear lol.
@@mattrancho You'll love the improvement in performance, as well as the nicer sound. I went to Specialty Z in Simi Valley, CA, as I'm about a 5 hour drive north of the shop in the SF bay area. Seb, the owner, did a fantastic job on the tune, with about half of the total gains due to his tuning corrections on the timing and A/F ratios. We found that the ECU is programmed to run lean at low to mid revs; with the addition of better breathing mods in the intake and exhaust the engine is running extremely lean in that range and is way down on torque. It took him about 7 pulls on his dyno to get everything dialed in. He has some good canned tunes that you can download for your Z, since he has many years experience in tuning these cars. Good luck.

@@mattrancho You might want to do what I did and drive the car to F.I. and have the hardware installed there on one day, stay overnight at a nearby hotel and then take the car to Seb the next day for the tune. Both shops are close to each other there in Simi Valley. The people at Fast Intentions did a great job in installing the hardware and the people are really nice, especially Kevin the office manager.

How did you get the styrofoam pieces out of the rear? I've unscrewed the black thing and I have undone the straps but there seems to be something still holding them in

This is for sure a factory freak by some of ur races and lowkey I feel like mine might be similar to yours cz I have had same experiences. I have a 2011 base, and just muffler delete and pull on other 370z's ive raced, and gapped g37s hard. It might be the auto, but I feel like our cars have 10-20 extra hp over some other 370z. The auto for sure has helped me gap people who need driver mod in v8's.

5th gens are fast what do you mean they come with a LS engine that alot of people swap with with their motors. Its a legendary v8 engine with over 300hp, its just the drivers because of the cheap power you get at a good price. The drivers arnt that good

2014+ got redesigned OEM headers so you got lucky there. I cannot find anyone that has tested the newer OEM headers vs Z1 / Tomei shorty headers but the older Zs saw an average of 8 WHP, so I am assuming with the redesign that gap will be down to 5 or so WHP which is not worth the money. That automatic trans gives you an advantage vs most of the guys you are racing, most peeps get the manual which is more fun but you lose to the automatics.
IssaSlowZ sure your car was produced especially for racing compared to other Zs 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️😂😂 . mods , tuning , engine wear (care) so much factors influence.
IssaSlowZ same compression ? same back presure? same a:f mixture? same ait temp? soo many things can vary ect ect , no engine same in the world is produced better in the same manufacturer.

Maybe 5th gens and 4.6 3v but I doubt your beating coyotes or the 6th gen Camaro especially if they have the 10r80
theres no way you're even hanging with the 5.0 or the 6th gen ss let alone smoking them

Camaro SS only runs mid 12s stock it's naturally aspirated and pretty heavy . The ZL1 would be be alot better competition its supercharged.
