My monitor looks like the thumbnail of this video (with black bars on the side); how do I get it to look like it does in this video? I have an a7iii

i found an evident latency... like a quarter of second (maybe less)on my Esddi f5, connected to my a7iii.. can be normal? should it be latency-free??

I don’t know if it should be latency free or not. I have noticed a similar latency (possibly shorter) when I use the monitor, but it’s small enough that it doesn’t bother me.

FYI a7iii users monitor doesn't work shooting 4k.

I was able to get 4k working for my needs. If you set 4k Output Sel to Memory Card+HDMI you can view the frame on the monitor while recording to the memory card in your camera. If you change that setting to HDMI Only, then the camera tells you "When outputting 4K movies, you cannot record movies to a recording media."
