I did flash cards mainly for my pharmacy finals for 2nd year, and active recall when practicing case studies. I got first class marks, so your advice helped me so much! I can’t wait to implement them more over 3rd year!
I'm an incoming pharmacy student and I'm already doing some of your study methods. I'll try to use the others when our classes start. Thank you for sharing!
Hi, I'm just like you, it takes me a long time to study. I'm going to start my first year of pharmacy in August so if you can make a video on how was your first year that will be awesome.😎
Hi ,I'm currently in my first year of pharmacy school. Your tips are helpful, I am planning to score well for my upcoming mid year test by following your guidance😊😍
i started to stop pharmacy last week and im really new! i want to leave from my current university and i have to take high grades for leaving. so i started to study earlier asap. thank you so much, its really helpful. i will write again after the exams
Thank you for sharing! I’m currently a first year pharmacy student and I really find your study method helpful! Usually I write and organize notes on the slides that I print out. It saves paper and money for me as I am a broke pharmacy student lol.
I’m about to be a senior in high school and I’m considering pharmacy (not 100% sure what I want to do) but It’s like I want to and I don’t want to do it at the same time:( I’m nervous I’ll fail pharmacy school or something😭 or I’ll just suddenly lose interest.
i'm incoming grade 12 student also non-stem student already think it would be difficult for me entering in college. seing those tips helps me a lot hoping for more vids of u😊
Next week I will be starting the 2nd year of pharmacy school at university. I am going to try to follow your tips and advice to try to get the best marks I can. I have to admit this 1rst year was catastrophic due to the new covid19 restrictions but I think it will get better :)
Hello, thank you so much for sharing your study methods. I am studying pharmacy course in the UK. I am a very slow learner. I do step 1-3 same as you. I do a little bit of Q&A in my head. I think I am going to try your way write questions out for this exam. For the cue cards, I really want to start making them. A lot of students in my class using cue cards as well. Because I have never used cue card, it might take a while for me to develop using this method. I found that it is quite difficult to find online resources for studying pharmacy course. Do you have some recommendations? Thank you!
Thanks for your videos, very informative they are. I am looking at applying for Pharmacy school next year but i am curious as to how the exams are. I mean the nature of the exams in Pharmacy school. Are they multiple choice questions, essays or oral questions. Please if you could throw more light on this it would be helpful
Hello there! No problem, I'm glad that you found my videos informative 😊Exams in pharmacy school varies upon different universities and courses. For my university, exams are a combination of oral exam, multiple choice questions, calculations, and short answer questions. When I have the time, I'll make a video talking about what pharmacy exams are like at my university
samwizzy1 Pharmacy school exams is drastically different from undergrad for the nature of them or at least you’ll find will become progressively applicational. You’re given the foundational knowledge, then you’re expected to make decisions based off of the knowledge. The questions will require you to think, but that’s to ensure the quality of you yourself when becoming a pharmacist who actually know what you’re doing. :)
I am a first-year pharmacy student . I was looking for ways to study pharmacy materials that are difficult for me to understand. In addition , I don’t know how to read them 😅 . And I tried in many ways I end up not understanding anything and failing it . Thank you for posting your videos, I will make sure to apply them. If you have study methods please share them with me I will be very grateful to you ❤
wow i needed this! i'm going to try this out. so generally, do you get pretty good grades like A's with this method? also, what pens and notebook do you use? lol thank you!
Hi, thank you for your tips, just want to ask, do you summary the notes (steps 2) after remember all the things or you making summary while reading, soryy im just first year, it is my first time being undergraduate student
I try to summarize the notes after I've memorized everything, that way I'm actively using my brain cells to recall the information. However I may still refer to my notes when making the summary because I definitely am not able to memorize everything in one go! Don't be sorry at all! Welcome to university, I hope that your semester is going well :)
I find that textbooks are a really useful tool to help us understand concepts. For instance, if there is something that I don’t understand in lecture notes, I take a look at the textbook and I generally find that it enhance my understanding of that particular concept. I can go into more detail about this in a video if you’d like, just let me know ☺️
I want to take notes from the textbook before lecture or class, and during lecture or class, I would only take notes of the extra information from the professor. Is that beneficial too? Because I suck at taking notes and listening at the same time😂
