Excellent. Looked at lots of videos on this camera, plenty of fitting advice but this is the only one I've seen giving detail on what it actually does . Good job.
Great video. Do you have to press the red circle button every time you get in the car for the dash cam to record? And if I get hit and my g sensor goes off I just click the button that says next base at the bottom and it will save the last 60 seconds?
thanks, the camra records when powered up so no need to to press the red circle. if you have the dash cam wired to a permanent live so always powered and parking mode on then yes when the cars hit it will record for 5 mins from the moment of impact. the nextbase button is for use while driving if something happens you want to capture press it and it saves that file separately on the sd card for easy access later on. hope this helps
When the sreen saver mode is turned off does this nkw show you your speed when driving on older models it a blanlk screen with just your speed. Does this model do this
Very informative video, just what I wanted having just bought a camera yesterday. One basic question. If I don't link it to my phone, how do I view the camera footage ? Do I remove the SD card & use a card reader on a pc, or can I remove the camera & connect it to a pc via a USB cable ? Thanks .
the best way is to remove the sd card and read it on a pc. this is the fastest way to view the footage recorded and you can copy it to the pc if needed. the app is quite slow as trying to process a lot at once.
My 322GW in parking mode records 30sec protected clip and then another 30 sec unprotected clip is that normal? I think it should record just 30sec protected clip and turn off.
Does this Dash cam let you clip the past few minutes of driving? So if I have an accident, can I press the button and save the past few minutes of footage?
@@MADMODS lovely, is it the button in the middle on the lower edge? Because whenever I press it, it starts recording and doesn’t show footage from before I pressed it
@@joannacastella9648 It should lock that file on the sd card so it dosnt get written over I think it saves 30 or 60 seconds depending on the settings of video recording length. you might need to use the app or pc to see the footage.
Please help. I had comment on your other video. I got issues with the parking mode, I turn it on and hoping my Dashcam will turn itself off after 5 minutes. It dose but then its turn itself back on and stay like this 24/7. I checked all the setting and still the same. Thanks
I read the manual and just not grasping this camera. Videos don't download to the phone unless you're in the app and close to the camera. My son pressed the save video button and now it no longer records. Can you make a video of day to day use? Through the course of daily driving, no one has time to turn on the app every time they get in the car. How is this camera used in real life? Thanks.
the camra should record as soon as it powers on. the app is very slow as the video footage is very large files being downloaded. use the sd card in a computer to see the footage captured. it's much faster. you should be able to get it set up in the screen menu make sure you use a nextbase sd card or one for fast action cameras a normal sd card won't work. this could be the issue you are having. try formatting the sd card again. there's not much to do to it day to day.
@@MADMODS great points. I did just use a generic SD card and didn't format it. Do you have to turn on the app every time you get in the car? I guess you really have no need to ever view the videos unless something unfortunate happens. So far, not finding this very user friendly and their tech support only has a UK number. They should have a US toll free number if they're going to sell it over here.
@@txman951 you need to use a suitable sd card for dash cams. you only need the app to view footage not connected every time you get in. it will just record when powered up. no need for the app at all really. what camra are you using? most functionality is done with the touch screen. you can format the card in the unit under settings - format sd card swipe rite twice to see that. hope it helps
Thanks this was very helpful. Just got my 322 dash cam today.

Great no nonsense video, easy to understand, thank you
Thanks for the video.
To be clear, if I have or see an accident, if I press the NEXTBASE button and it saves the footage for the few minutes prior?
Recommended settings would be useful, good video.

it will shut down after 60 seconds depending on how long you have your clip set for it will record for longer if you have it set longer.
@@MADMODS Where in settings can i set up PARKING MODE clips to be recorded for 30 sec and then shut down?
My regular clips are set for 3minutes.

yes it dose, it has a button for exactly that.

I bought this cam from Halfords who wired it all in and it appears to work great..is it advisable to use parking mode?..drain power much???
parking mode uses the internal battery and only records when the camera feels a bump.

I dont get it man.... the g sensor is on and parking mode is on. But when the car is switched off it looks like its fully off (The 322gw)
make sure the battery is fully charged. could be the issue.
Does it save time before when u press that button?
yes it dose.
@@MADMODS thanks for replying I'm going to sub now
Hello, do you know why this dash cam would drain your battery? Thanks
because its wired to constant power feed rather than a ignition feed.
I’m having trouble inserting the sim
it takes a sd card not a sim card. the sd card should fit in fine.
@@MADMODS that’s what I meant 😅 but I got it sorted
