I love listening to her speak. She’s intelligent and has a calming voice. Also very pretty. Wish this interview was longer, and if you haven’t seen the movie I highly encourage you to.

OK, this interview was too darn short. Lily's voice is hypnotic, her grace and demeanour are charming and i could listen to her all day. The interview finished awfully and abrupt.
agreed, the live interview felt short. i wish she’d been given the time Wahlberg got, but i guess since she’s “less established” she got the secondary interview block. the interview may have continued off-air during commercials as they often do. i’d love to watch the extended version if it exists. she was on Fallon too. i realize he’s not on Colbert’s level, but the interview was longer and equally lovely. same for Kimmel.
Cutting her off from the ending of the story about the bee was sad and rude. I know the time was short, but that story was great.

As someone in whose life both Leonardo da Vinci on one side and Meryl Streep on another had an extraordinary impact I could see what you see, both comparisons do make sense indeed. I have a special connection with the Native peoples and culture so I really hope she wins and, I believe, most likely she will.

Love how "Killers of the Flower Moon" showed me why storytelling through visual medium in cinema format is crucial for so many groups or is more for telling the stories transparently for having better historical memory.
She was the heart & soul of the film. Some scenes she had to show her emotions w her expressions & not words. If she doesn't win the Oscar it'd be a travesty! Go Lily!

Her performance is effortlessly powerful. Her almost unnoticeable shifts in body language and speech as the film goes on are brilliant. The performance doesn't scream into your soul, it sneaks into it.

He did criticise Brando afterwards but actually it wasn’t for the political statement - he said he disliked how Brando had put Sacheen Littlefeather on the spot, and that Brando ought to have come and expressed his views himself.
@@MacIntoshMann - The other odd wrinkle to the whole thing is the Sacheen Littlefeahter was a fraud! She died recently and her siblings came out and said that she was not from an indigenous family at all. Weird stuff.

I agree her interview segment should have been longer, but if you add up the two from Wahlberg it's 10 mins. and hers is 8 ½ mins. In the old Letterman days, guests got twice that. Too many ads, that's the problem. We've become an ADD society to our detriment.

This woman is so real in the phoniness of the Entertainment business. You can tell she doesn't really fit into this world, and Stephen is actually a thoughtful and empathetic person. I can't imagine her on some stupid vapid morning show or a red carpet being asked moronic questions.
