You take whatever time off you want my man, your videos are awesome, your tastings are wicked honest and help all of us dabbling in wine making. We appreciate you.
I appreciate that.
My experience is that raspberries are notorious! I tried combining them with other fruits, but they overtake everything :D I like them though. Even if you do like 80% mango, 20% raspberries, it will still taste raspberried ;)
Well, now I know to cut back a bit next time.
I very much enjoy your videos Charles. Keep up the good work.
Thank you. I will.
Hi. Just started my 1st ever batches. One gallon peach and the other a gallon of mango. Both from store bought juices. Just racked the mango which is still cloudy (but tasted goood but premature), and literally just put the yeast into the peach. I cant wait to actually sit back and enjoy an evening with the wife and a bottle or two of MY OWN brew. Will feel so proud of myself! 👍💜🇬🇧
Good luck. It's all worth it in the in.
That color!!!
Very nice color.
You should make a batch and try distilling it. Talk about an extra kick. I recently tried peach moonshine, which the vintner made from a peach wine that didn’t turn out well according to him. It’s a whole new experience, without the headache afterwards because the methanol is collected and discarded during distillation. Great video btw and thank you.
Thank you for watching.
Raspberry wine sounds delish.
Off topic. You posted a link to a fish recipe a while back, and I've made it a few times now, and it is SO good. One time I didn't have lemons, so I used lime juice, and it was even better.
It is rather tasty, and is now part of my normal dinner lineup.
I just found your channel. I love!!!!! You're fun! Can't wait to go through and see many more!
Welcome!! Hope you enjoy.
You're killing it buddy !!!!
Thank you.
Great stuff!
Id like to see a recipe of Raspbarry, Bluebarry, Vanilla, Cinnamon.
My fav combo, i will try this out myself, and with the help of you, i can only try
One way to possibly see it is to become a member to help pay for it.
You have just reminded me to try my raspberry wine. Mine is about 9 months old and still in the demijohns 🙃
I wish I could let mine set in demijohns for that long. The longest is now at 7 months.
It taste quite good but....body is lacking though. ( dont know if that's the right description, I'm still a Newbie) So question...will it develop more body if left longer or can I add anything to it? I love full bodied wines generally and this at the moment is not that...🤔 thanks in advance😊
Can you do the mango wine tasting 🙏🏾
Thank you for reminding me, I thought I had until I just checked and realized that I had not. I just pulled out a bottle and you can expect to see that tasting video on 3/24.
@@DIYFermentation Awesome! Thanks so much! I just started my first ever fermentation with mango wine following your recipe so I look forward to seeing how it comes out!! 😁 Also keep up the great content!

This is the next batch for me. So from your original receipe, you would only change the 3 lbs of raspberries to 4 lbs? Or any other changes you would recommend? I am thinking of using Lalvin 71B as a yeast or maybe Safake S 04, have not decided yet. Thanks for sharing your receipes with us.
No, 3 pounds of raspberries was more than enough.
هلووو صديقي شكرا لك هذا مشروب رعات البقر الكابوي.....انت صانع مشروب جيد جدا👍👍👍👍

I have a gallon of elderberry wine clearing in my closet, but it doesn't want to clear, what do you suggest
Although I have a gallon of elderflower currently aging and clearing fine, I've never made elderberry. When making wine with berries I allow myself one cheat and will use pectin enzyme to assist in removing the pectin haze that takes forever if ever to clear.
Thanks for the tip, I am going to try bentonite and see what it does
So I have a technical question about the abv. I think you said your OG was 1.095. Now when I use an online abv calculator it shows that if your brew fermented to .990 it would only have an abv of 13.78 not the 15.4 you came up with. Did you step feed sugar to backsweeten and thereby restarting fermentation and gaining more abv in the process? Just trying to figure out how 1.095 to .990 = 15.4, I feel like I'm missing something?
Back before I knew better and started pasturizing my brews, I employed the step back sweetening method which was unreliable for abv levels. This not being a technical wine making channel, I don't dwell on projected abv levels.
@@DIYFermentation thank you for your quick response.
What kind of corks did you use and where did you find them?
Thank you
I now use these corks from Amazon: amzn.to/3vgBA9w

I purchased the same ones you have and they are extremely hard and would not fit in any wine bottles. How did you soften yours and how long? Yours look like they work very well.
I usually just soak them in StarSan for a minute or so before using them my wine corker.
