I finally watched all of your vids! If we consider 10 minutes on average, I spent 9460 minutes (or near 158 hours, more than 6.5 days) with you but we don't know each other... I know what you accept to show us and I really like it! You seems to be a very rare good guy with a good vision of the life. You're not just a man, you're a human!

Love the sound of the pipes, it keeps me coming back. Just Subscribed for all the other fine content. Enjoy the chilled set up. Was a biker 36 years and miss it so much due to injury and family commitments.

I havent ridden my bike since september. And the roads are just starting to clear up. This video is a perfect primer to go out and ride soon.

I'm so envious of you guys over there, with your ability to lane split. I had to deal with traffic this morning on my bike, and almost wanted to cry because we were moving so slow. Like, why the hell do I have to be stuck here with you people lol. I'm from Chicago btw.

Did 130+ miles each way on the s1000r just this Sunday - mar 25th. All but about 10miles M1+M18 unfortunately - just wanted to get there and back. But so much of that stretch of M1 MK to Sheffield is speed controlled, even 50 limit at the "smart" motorway works, only rare blasts possible. Which meant I did both legs with a good 20+ miles of petrol to spare.
Shell vpower on the way up north, whatever Sainsbury hi octane is for the return!

go for the japanese bulletproof bikes instead, every higher then 600cc bike will sound good with an aftermarket exhaust system, or a short exhaust can with cat removed, but if u got no problem with lesser reliability or u got that cash then bmw would be a better brand, same as ducati
@@DarthRevan12 ? What are u talking about i have mine done Km and Km in 4years 0 problems i Say 0 riding in March, on Frozen no , and It start at First.. Bmws are bulletproof tho if you care them.

RJ - do you ride your bikes with the baffle out? I have ridden mine once without and I was so conscious of how loud it sounded I had to put it back in straight after...

9:20 yeah that road is a bit bumpy I ride those roads every now and then, also petrol is just petrol I've been using Morrisons petrol in diss ever since I've been riding there is no difference between shell or any other petrol. Great video
I’m the same with fuel RJ. It makes the bike feel a bit smoother. Probably just in my mind but I think it’s worth it.
How will you handle those silent Zero bikes RJ? Sound is so important to you. But perhaps you're not looking to purchase one, just testing?

Does the BMW quickshifter also work for downshifts?
Caltex in Australia is better quality and last longer in my experience for my bikes. Shell VPower is my second choice. Great video RJ. Much respect.

RoyalJordanian the road you were on at 9:20ish I ride that road regularly into Redgrave it's notorious for bumpy. Ride safe P&L.
Looking forward to your Zero report. I rode one, magic carpet ride! Also test rode the Harley LiveWire. Now Harley has teamed up with Alta Motors to make Harley electric bikes. That will be interesting to see. Have to admit, 'Old Empire Motorcycles' looked pretty shady.

You need to fit a remote control oil injector into your exhaust and when you have tailgaters you simply press a button and the oil enters the exhaust and produces masses of white smoke a it like the Red Arrows :)

Just a note on the gas:
These days it's all so high quality you're doing your bikes justice with "regular" euro 95 unleaded fuel. THe main selling point of vpower is that it is 97 octane vs 95 in regular (not much of a difference) and the Vpower has more additives which are beneficial if you want to clean your fuel lines on the inside.
Asked a specialist during my internship at shell and he basically said V-power is to make clean and regular 95 unleaded is to keep clean.
Hey You was in the a406 I think the 50 average speed camera! Thats my area, few years ago there was no cameras there so you could literally go 100 mph. But after the BP towards Tesco in colney hatch There is no average speed there :)

Mac Dubh and yet it's legal everywhere here and only in a few places in the US! Unfair. Your roads are so big even goldwings could filter, I feel bad when I see all those motovloggers stuck in traffic with all the huge gaps!
RJ, did you drill in the hole inside the tank? I have k1300s and on some forums folks were doing the same to their tanks. Can you confirm that it makes faster to refill the tank with the hole ?

Hi.. I know this is a few years old... But I'm verging on buying a 2020 s1000r v low kms. I come from a Nuda R, mv f3 800 which i sold for ftr1200 as it was too focussed.. But now I'm thinking hard about the s1000r i tested, i was impressed ... But it didnt quite have the soul of the others mentioned...
Ps ive kept my Nuda but the ftr1200 is probably the one being moved on! Any further thoughts on the s1000r?. My relationship with BMW's is that they seam to keep growing on me.. I have a bmw scrambler, in theory i shouldn't like it as much as i do.. Its Big and heavy but i love it. More than the ftr1200 if honest... Great engine though on the ftr!
