Great video, Lonette. I said I was going to do the same thing. I think you should try to recoup some of your money back. I sold one of my UD Naked palettes on Mercari. I say go for it!
I love the idea of the bins for specific eyeshadow brands which makes it easier to find any palette depending on who she is..when ever I get the space to organize my palettes.. I'm doing it this way

Am just at the beginning of your video, I really wish that Urban Decay would do palettes like they used to I think the colours and the design of the palettes were so beautiful.

Having to declutter those old palettes hurts so bad! I am finally retiring my palettes from 2014-2015, like the chocolate bar, lorac 2, and that neutral makeup forever palette. Those were my faves for many years and if they released them again, I’d 💯 repurchase. I’m keeping them in a separate area for nostalgia though. It brings me joy to open them!

The bad habit with the purple is beautiful .. the one with the broken mirror also.👍 the vice palletes 😍😍the kat von d's also.. the chocolate pallete is pretty too. All the makeup forever palletes also.. the warrior one after u take the shades u want and the nubian 💕 any of the abh palletes too..👍👍 the yes please by colourpop the main squeeze and the it's my pleasure 💜 would love to have the ace beaute 2 would be amazing. The la girl and the slush pallete💕 omg the colorized rain pallete yess please.. the ND lil love pallete is really pretty I have always wanted to try her.. 68 girl!! I'm so proud of you! I know how hard it is to get rid of some of them, but you did amazing!! It's up to you on what to do with them. Some I'd probably split between mercari and donate.
Yes!!! Open a Mercari. You spent good money on your collection. ❤ Link your Mercari and I will take a look at it.
Be careful when de-potting your Juvia’s place shadows, especially the matte shade. Someone said that they did it successfully by saturating the cardboard until it disintegrated. Otherwise, the pans are very flimsy and the mattes especially crack very easily. Don’t ask me how I know, but I speak from experience.

Whatever I don’t give away to people I know I send to project beauty share which takes lightly used makeup for women leaving abusive relationships. I throw away anything that looks too used up or is too old. I know some people do mercari, but I don’t have the patience to ship out multiple boxes of makeup like that myself. 😂 You could probably sell the vintage ones on mercari for a substantial price tag.
There’s always multiple people on these videos asking for makeup, and I wish they wouldn’t ask unless the influencers offers it out of respect. They may be totally honest about being in need themselves or giving it away to other people in need, but it’s hard to know if people online are being truthful and have pure intentions.
I donated all the palettes from my last declutter to Project Beauty Share. I may look to see if there are any local shelters of agencies in my area who accept gently used makeup.

If you think someone would want something, I'd say give the palette away. It's less hassle than trying to sell it. So, my second option would be Mercari.

@@LBDBeauty it depends. Making a sale is nice and Mercari takes their fees of the top. So, no guessing. I list items and forget about them. No stress.

You just took me on a trip down memory lane! The UD Vice Palettes, The Shade and Light that had a choke hold on the beauty community! The Metals and Mattes! Lord! For the record I also loved Naked 3 as well.

I couldn’t find the BH Cosmetics Cotton Candy palette. I found the sugar cone and 2 of the blue palettes. My TJ Maxx isn’t great about getting makeup.
Great declutter! 68 is a lot! I'm finally going to send off my box of decluttered palettes this week to Project Beauty Share. In total I decluttered 20 palettes (some had to be thrown out due to old age). I threw away that Wet and Wild Comfort Zone palette. I've had it since 2011! I was holding on to it for nostalgia, but then realized that I don't care to reminisce over 2011 due to past college multiple dating dramas that unraveled that year when I was wearing that palette. I had flashbacks and decided to throw it away. LOL
I also have that cool tone Nabla palette in one of my boxes of shame but I'm planning to use it soon now that it's Winter.
I now have another box of 20 palettes that I'm going to use this year and decide if I want to keep them. With me slowing down on what I bring in, it will give me a chance to go through what I already own.

I didn’t even know Makeup Forever ever made 9 pans eyeshadow palettes. You collection is great. I just wonder if you could find somebody to make hand held mirrors out of the old Vice packaging. How cool would that be?!

That color nail polish is what I've been looking for in an eyeshadow..it's like a dirty mustard so if you know of any single or palette with that color please let me know and yes I would definitely buy a couple of your palette..interested in "Queen of heart, Christmas palette by Dose of colors"
Melt Gemini has the ultimate mustard. :) Also there's similar in Naked Honey too if you prefer something cheaper, but those shades aren't quite as murky and grungy

Loved the video. I just wanted to tell you that there is reformulated version of ABH Subculture at TJ Maxx and Marshalls. I have it . I also hated the original formula.
I'm not sure if anyone cares since this isn't a fragrance channel, but Bath and Body Works is having their semiannual sale now in case you want to buy any soaps, body washes, lotions, sprays, etc. for a very low price. It's worth it to me personally because I got through multiples of those products each year. I only shop it during the Winter because I don't love the summer and spring type scents at this point, so whenever they do their summer sale I always pass on it.

Gurrrrl, I wish I knew. 😆 I think I buy too much and generally don't use eyeshadow that often, so I get backed up really quickly. And then, some I just buy because it's on sale and not because I really want it. I'm going to try to cut that out in 2023.
