I was like, I will release my demo soon! I'm just going to configure Steam Playtest soon! That’s such an amazing feature by Steam. I used to think I'd do it when I had time, but now I just need to do it! Amazing, haha. C I love your content!
One thing he misses about in-person festivals is that you get to properly see and document the first time experience that players have. That is valuable information that can let you make changes that could be the difference between 6/10 and 8/10 reviews when it goes on sale. That is massively helpful. Though, you shouldn't travel half way across the world. Whatever is closest is best: new players are new players, no matter where they are.
good talk but I did laugh at star wars as the example when it was the one of the biggest movies of all time on release with the most famous opening text crawl of all time. Ofc people can't turn off the steaming service when they bought a ticket at the theater
I think what he tried to say is even Star War, the biggest movies of all time also use the same idea to impress audiences, give you no reason not to do it
Oh shit, we almost got the full 7 keys lore. Been watching all these videos with Chris just for that.
one of the most helpful XP Boosts so far! Thanks to Chris and GameCity

well I think his point was a 30 second crawl is way shorter than the original opening which was like a 10 minute exposition session
