@@Fraustyy For both blade build you want specialization on every accessory. For the secondary one you get on your necklace you ideally want crit. The build they were going for in the video especially wants a lot of specialization.

Remember u also have to take in the fact if they got lucky with their chances. They probably got success alot more than an average player, but someone could be so unlucky and spend thousands only to keep failing.
There is someone on my discord that is maxed and "only" spent $1.2k. He also had barely any failures, so I can definitely believe $1.5k with above average luck.
@@Theeater126 Idk if money spent is a good indicator anymore, since there are just so many factors. There is also a huge diff between 1.2k RMT vs 1.2k trading Royal crystals, not to mention that always the chance he is low balling. I think the best bet is to ask for a screenshot of his honing fail acheivement. A lot of the players I've seen have ~180 to 200 fails to get to 1370.

I dont get what you mean by 5 mats a day? I am free to play, hit T3 today and my friends are close behind, I know they havent spent anything either... I never had this problem. The only hard parts are 580-600 and 1080-1100 which is fair since thats effectively maxing out a whole tier of content.
Aside from these two walls you can usually make 3-4 upgrades a day despite the chances. This is an MMO, why are you thinking you will get max level instantly....

it depends on your luck with honing. once you reach +11 in t3 for +12 until +14 the chance drops to 15%. you have to make 18 upgrades with 15% chances. and once you manage to reach +14 the chance for +15 is 10%. if you're not lucky with honing you will spend more than someone who is lucky. apparently Shroud was not lucky.
Hes not maxed and he doesn't have the right stats on his class yet. You dont really want to be maxed either way since you want it to fill a void in months long content gaps. Its the whole reason why koreans changed the system to percent instead of fill mats to get level, its too easy to get +25 and there would be nothing to do. Its why you can steamroll t1 and t2 content at +15 gear for that tier, granted t3 is actually harder and better then the t1-t2 jump

but reading though a lot of comments, also in the lost ark forums, people just don't realize and are also somewhat influenced by a lot of content created about loa.... long-term players show builds with 5 maxed engravings, no one talking about that to "perfect" your build setup it takes you months if not over a year since EVERYONE is a new player... the game is out since 1 month... people seem to forget that... people also seem to forget that it is an mmo after all and therefor meant to be played long-term...

They don't want to wait. You get that jump in to mid tier 2 and then you grind 1000 to 1100. I averaged 1-2 upgrades per day until I hit T3.

the game needs to have a 2nd section on under your "item level" wjere it says "gear earned" there should be a 2nd one for "Gear bought" so players can see and know who really plays the game and who just wastes money.

I'm telling you, there are less and less indie developers every year because why go through hard work and creativity to make a PC game when you can just make one of those mobile autorun or idle games that work almost identical to any other mobile game and make millions?
That's a lot better than mine. I spent $800+ just on cosmetics and slots for 18 characters when I did play. I spread myself too thin; that's part of why I stopped playing. If I went back, I'd have just played one class for as long as I could.

@@Rex_Smashington you don't understand. the resource allocation shifts dramatically at this level, making everything you CAN earn by ingame means just a tiny fraction, and I mean tiny, of what you actually need to progress. So at this stage, money is the ONLY realistic way to progress further, because you can't even earn that much ingame anymore. basic mobile/kr mmo business strats.

All he needs is a neck with spec+crit and maybe a ring with crit and he's good. You're supposed to put most of your stats into spec while crit is your secondary because spec helps DB'S generate meter faster. 900+ spec practically guarantees full meter from one full rotation of skills. He's likely just holding onto the items that give him the adrenaline RE and Super Charge (the domination and eundurance)until he finds replacements with the stats he needs.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, that requires a shitton of game time but 1385 right now is possible as a F2P player.
I am not 100% F2P myself, I did buy the Platinum Founders Pack after all. That being said, my power-advantages I got were the 2600 Blue crystals (10€) and 30k in Gold from selling skins in T3. That's basically nothing. I am at 1355 and maybe I am about 5 ilvl higher than I would be without having bought that. But in retrospect I made a lot of mistakes experienced players from the RU servers would not have made.
@@saganakist Well 1355 to 1370 is more expensive than getting another alt to t3. Yea it's possible to hit 1370 as f2p if you knew the game well, and got 2 alts to t3 like 2 weeks ago. But beliving that even 1/4th of people at 1370rn are f2p is quite delusional man xd

He also has only Lv 8 Juwels... which are worth millions of Gold.
