He definitely puts on a show, but this game is absolutely going to make him quit soon enough, when honing races drop to below 10%. At that point viewer donations won't make a significant impact compared to how fast he wants to progress. I'm not expecting a very kind review from him when that time comes.

Unless you are willing to whale, but that's up to you. There are many streamers for example who have more then enough money to wale, but chose to stay f2p.
I think the % chance will become much higher when Tier 4 comes around. So investing a lot of money and grind into upgrading with that 1% is stupid. Just get yourself to where you can participate in tier 3 then wait for tier 4 to come around, sell all your mats in the meantime and become rich instead. It would only make sense since they would want their players to get to tier 4 to be able to enjoy that content so to do that they would make it easier to get there and then tier 4 would have the 1% again until tier 5 comes and so on.

Yea I failed 6x on 70% gear in t2. God that felt so bad, now in t3 I don't care. Some days I sell the mats, some days I try and don't even expect it to work. It's soo relaxing xD
Big ole facts man. I bombed out on my t1 +14 weapon until I maxed artisans energy, then again on an Armor at t2, and went 0-7 today for a couple +11 armors in t3. Not even worried about any of them, because I got 7 attempts after doing 8 two days ago and nailing 6 of them. So many more opportunities to make gains. Best part is not a single one downgraded.

You never need to do a PEN roulette, your stuff don't lost durability, you don't have to spend month and month to farm like a retard just to success a fucking TET or too build a fucking fail stack. The honing system is trash, but I like many aspects of the game. The funny thing is the chance of honing late in T3 is astronomically miniscule so I think if you play long enough you will kind of expect attempts to fail most of the time and you are just pleasantly surprised when one actually lands.
well solar blessings, grace, etc are mandatory for honing at this rate.. i wont hone my gears without at least 50% chance of success..i'm a f2w player and i traded my golds with crystals and bought them, pumped the chance up to at least 50% and i succeed.. my main is at 1340 and my alt had recently gotten to tier 3 as well.. you could get those from the cube, golden portal on chaps dungeon, excavation map or Mari's shop (this one is the cheapest) dont buy it on the market cuz the price is very high.. good luck!
You should not do this. It costs more to get the solars than to just upgrade twice. You should be selling all your solars as they are ridiculously overpriced right now and they will only go down in the future.

If you wait till everything goes down you won't make as much profit when you're chilling at 1340 and selling all mats. Therefore it's better to spend a bit more to rush it, and make more profit.

You should have kept the earlier pulls too where he made two 30% hones in a row to actually teach people how statistics work. When asmon was bragging he'd just get the upgrades immediately regardless of the low chances, sure, it could happen, once or twice, but these designers aren't idiots, they made it so one or two lucky shots ultimately don't matter, you need to get lucky as many times as you have gear pieces. Ultimately the rate isn't a 1% rate, that's actually fairly common in gacha games. Here it's much worse, it's 1% times the number of upgrade avenues, it's practically impossible to win, it's so predatory that people don't actually believe you when you tell them. And that's why you need actual footage of someone thinking they could cheese through the game easily and just getting flattened outright.

I think the game is fun. I’ve been collecting island tokens and adventure tome grinding. There’s a lot of content to play through and you’ll receive tons of rewards along the way. everyone is obsessed with grinding the ilvl. Just explore the game and enjoy it. Item level is a small part of the game
its not bad if you consider other mmos fail= broken =degraded gear = more and more mats and other games dont have mari shop to just whale out if your luck is so bad you are just screwed
There's like a milking point at around 500-600 ilvl. 100% Asmon would quit at that point if he actually had to farm his own materials. took me probably a week to get from 500-600. took me 1 day to get from 800-1020. the progression system is really weird, like why would 500-600 be slower than 800-1k ? it makes sense endgame progression is slow but 500-600 ivl should be faster than 800-1k. lol
You forgot to do all the islands after you're run out of materials to hone gear. Them 90 island tokens, upgrading ships to lvl 10 and getting all the best crews are waiting for you. Same thing with Ignea tokens and so on.
I never liked games that did a chance to upgrade. Get mats then fail. Maybe I’m spoiled by other games that guaranteed your upgrade when you got the materials.
The honing system only thing I wish there would look at , I know its a ftp game and they need to make money but i would rather pay a monthly sub so I could enjoy my alts and not have to fail all the time even at low tier .
I literally do the same sheit, god damn honing takes your soul man, ability stone cutting is ok even if it's awful, but honing, the amount of mats lost is just incredible.

@@wisniamw Maybe. I just enjoy doing chaos dungeons/abyssal raids on different classes now, it just took me awhile to get used to this "relaxed" playstyle as a gamer xd. I raided for 4 weeks in FF Savage content without getting anything basically. 5 ilvl per month due to unlucky rng. Yes in that game if you'd keep playing for 4months you would have your progression certain due to exchangables which here isn't the case(cuz even % increase likely will take longer for 100%). But also that gear would be useless in 6months total when the new tier comes along with catchup mechanics. It's not like all those other great mmorpgs have a system much better than this here. People just hate cuz they hear "RNG RNG". But yea maybe we need to see how much the later content will be gated by potentially halted progression.
@@rodh.3594 Is izi, at lvl 25 you unlock the housing system, at lvl 10 and 15 you got an investigación automativally once you got to the current tier like t1 and t2, but is locked in the housing, at level 10 and 15 you just investigated that thing and thats it, in the laboratory, it take like 6h to complete the investigation but once you do it, your alters is izi to lvl up like af, i have 3 alters at t2 almost t3 with that shit xD
I appreciate Lost Ark's gameplay when I'm actually playing. The combat and raids are so cool. But this is why I stopped. I just don't want to do this stuff.
@@voidbg7017 in 100+ hours I made it to t3 (1100) without Alts and spending a dime. Yes. When I fail my daily upgrades I just do the other 95% of the content in the game. That's why I don't see the problem. In the meantime I made a region to almost 100% have 400+ mokokos, started finally with another character just to try out other things and pushed him over 530+ GS with only 3 days of making chaos and guardian raids with him. I think y'all just speed running and destroying your own fun at the game. Couldn't care less if it takes me even weeks or months to get to gs 1300+ from here on.

If you want to play Korean mmorpg, it is normal for you to fail all day long. Think about the 2% in the back. In fact, that is already a very high success rate in Korean games.

I think the game is fun. I’ve been collecting island tokens and adventure tome grinding. There’s a lot of content to play through and you’ll receive tons of rewards along the way. everyone is obsessed with grinding the ilvl. Just explore the game and enjoy it. Item level is a small part of the game

There's like a milking point at around 500-600 ilvl. 100% Asmon would quit at that point if he actually had to farm his own materials.
took me probably a week to get from 500-600. took me 1 day to get from 800-1020. the progression system is really weird, like why would 500-600 be slower than 800-1k ? it makes sense endgame progression is slow but 500-600 ivl should be faster than 800-1k. lol
You forgot to do all the islands after you're run out of materials to hone gear. Them 90 island tokens, upgrading ships to lvl 10 and getting all the best crews are waiting for you. Same thing with Ignea tokens and so on.

I never liked games that did a chance to upgrade. Get mats then fail. Maybe I’m spoiled by other games that guaranteed your upgrade when you got the materials.

The honing system only thing I wish there would look at , I know its a ftp game and they need to make money but i would rather pay a monthly sub so I could enjoy my alts and not have to fail all the time even at low tier .

I literally do the same sheit, god damn honing takes your soul man, ability stone cutting is ok even if it's awful, but honing, the amount of mats lost is just incredible.

@@wisniamw Maybe. I just enjoy doing chaos dungeons/abyssal raids on different classes now, it just took me awhile to get used to this "relaxed" playstyle as a gamer xd.
I raided for 4 weeks in FF Savage content without getting anything basically. 5 ilvl per month due to unlucky rng. Yes in that game if you'd keep playing for 4months you would have your progression certain due to exchangables which here isn't the case(cuz even % increase likely will take longer for 100%). But also that gear would be useless in 6months total when the new tier comes along with catchup mechanics.
It's not like all those other great mmorpgs have a system much better than this here. People just hate cuz they hear "RNG RNG".
But yea maybe we need to see how much the later content will be gated by potentially halted progression.

@@rodh.3594 Is izi, at lvl 25 you unlock the housing system, at lvl 10 and 15 you got an investigación automativally once you got to the current tier like t1 and t2, but is locked in the housing, at level 10 and 15 you just investigated that thing and thats it, in the laboratory, it take like 6h to complete the investigation but once you do it, your alters is izi to lvl up like af, i have 3 alters at t2 almost t3 with that shit xD
if u played WOW so many years this could be painful...but if u played lineage 2 this is nothing

@@voidbg7017 in 100+ hours I made it to t3 (1100) without Alts and spending a dime. Yes. When I fail my daily upgrades I just do the other 95% of the content in the game. That's why I don't see the problem. In the meantime I made a region to almost 100% have 400+ mokokos, started finally with another character just to try out other things and pushed him over 530+ GS with only 3 days of making chaos and guardian raids with him.
I think y'all just speed running and destroying your own fun at the game. Couldn't care less if it takes me even weeks or months to get to gs 1300+ from here on.
@@christianschumann9927 Asmon gets funneled resources and thousands of gold and he is sturggling, you will quit the game istantly when you experience hwo bad the progression is, unless there is literally something wrong with your brain and you actually enjoy getting fucked by the game

Lost Ark leveling gets stale really fast. Best bet to enjoy yourself is probably to reach 50 and hop into PvP immediately
