The man, the myth, the legend. I love your work so much. Thank you so much! Have you ever thought about making a second channel where you upload your full onboards to?
Man, this is the MOST underrated car-related UA-cam channel ive ever come across. I wanted to suggest putting a speed-dial with g-forces and such at the bottom of the screen, but after watching all of your videos i think i dont even need that, the raw and pure sound and video footage are so awesome! Keep up your work man 🤘🏼
Its funny because normally if you noticed vibration from the camera being bolted to an object that would detract from the quality of the footage. In this case, I love it. It helps me realize the sensations the driver is feeling and when. Epic stuff
You can lokk at it up close in the „Pace Museum“ in Dortmund, Germany. Its there until Winter The cinnamon rolls there are killer too (and you can simrace, if you like)
Mr. Alblas, what can I say? Your cinematography is always great and the score is on point. Then you get your hands on a 961 and perfectly do none of that to give your audience an unadulterated lap. Absolutely fantastic!
I was at Lemans in 1987 when the 961 crashed and then caught fire when returning to the pits. It was parked in the paddock for a while so I took photos of it in the burned out condition. I had a Porsche 911 road car back then so followed Porsche racing closely.
Thanks for sharing this unique video! I don't know if it was the exact same event, but saw this car's demo at Zandvoort 5,5 years ago. It looked like the boost was turned down massively, just as in this video.
That's the _old_ Zandvoort! So this must be pre-2020 at least. Very cool.

A Porsche 962 engine in a 959 to race alone in competition and even among group C cars,,what a mad machine

This channel never fails to surprise
Bro really comes out with the best there is
No one posts better sounding videos of pure car/engine sounds. This channel rocks

That tach is hanging on for dear life in the upshifts

I'll have to stop on the way at Volkswagen AG and pick up some currywurst, too! 😂
AMAZING!!! I never thought I’d see onboard footage of this insanely cool unsung Porsche hero. Thank you so much

The off throttle blow off sounds are just amazing
Agreed, as is that on-boost acceleration.

It lives on. Nice to see it out of the museum.😀
What a effing sound, this is why I LOVE Porsche!

Haha yes the Porsche Museum wants to keep it in one piece
Best channel on UA-cam.
Not even close anymore
Another superb video. Thank you, Robert! 👍
Paul 😎
This channel is so underrated 😮😊
How is it possible that the camera gives an 90s vibes camera look/filter
Is that during the historic grand prix? I'm not sure what year, but I'm quite sure if have seen this live :)
The feeling of speed is awesome
Fantastic channel 💯💪
lovely like always
Beautiful.
Just about the only car that's more mythical than the Audi Sport Quattro S1
I miss original Zandvoort, rest in peace
Nice hazard.
Great sound 👍🚘👍
Great car beautifully shot.
Was it geared for Lemans?
That tachometer is just guessing the rpm with the upshift.😄
Always great content
Wonder what device use to record it ?
Only *surviving* 961.
Only one was built.
Nice gem
Love It
Legendary
What year was it filmed? there is no banking here
🔥🔥
My favorite part of this video is that nobody bothered telling the driver to only go 7/10ths since it’s one of one…
when is this from ?
Why only?
Cool looking car but I recall the drivers didn’t like it.
Yep! Because it was too easy to drive.
😍😍🤤
Lucky
I want to be your camera
😂
If you could get some american muscle action that would be awesome
:)
