I want to feed the squirrels, but I also don’t want to be responsible for any rabies cases or friendly squirrels crossing the streets unsafely and getting hurt 😞 what a dilemma…
Squirrel's Di alot of damage in a garden ..i have alot in my garden ..they dig up lawns and Flowers Pots ..Baskets ..unless you don't have them in your garden you wouldn't know they can be a nuisance
@@angelamary9493o really, obviously bird feeders are nothing but a business for you. I cannot detect much understanding of animal life in what you are saying.
In addition to dissuading dozens, even hundreds of birds from visiting your feeder, a couple of territorial / aggressive squirrels can, and almost always will gorge / scatter the seeds, costing you time and money. They will often destroy feeders my gnawing at them too. I get it, you want to appear magnanimous and giving. The fact is, however, that your “whatever, man” / “live and let live, I say” mentality isn’t applicable here.
Not sure that is entirely accurate. Birds need food sources to enable their migration. They primarily use instinct with the weather as their cues for when to migrate. My feeders are full all the time but they do get less traffic during migration time so it gets quieter( because some have left for their migration and didn’t stay just because I had food out) BUT I also get birds who are not frequent visitors to my feeders as they make stops on their migration journey. So not a bad thing to keep feeders out.
squirrels are amazing to watch too. feeding them is our contribution to wildlife. 👩🏻❤️🐿️🦋🐝🐦⬛

@@TheUncommonKIBBLES don’t fuck with me like mannn
I personally don't like Pennington sunflower bird seed. it is what I call dirty seed. It had twigs and other things that clog the bird feeder holes.
This video made me want to buy a squirrel feeder instead of a bird feeder.
bird diner 4
Why only feed the birds and not the squirrels?? A true animal lover will feed the squirrels too.

Feed them too, in a separate application.

Because they eat so bloody much
Someone needs to invent a sparrow proof feeder.

Not effective
Feeding birds can harm them.
Birds rely on the availability of food as a cue to migrate.
Don't take advice from people who sell feed
/feeders!

Migration is a biological impulse. They're not just going to stay because there is a bird feeder.
