for context, "requiem" is a latin word that means "rest". it is used as a word, particularly by roman catholics, to wish rest upon the dead, as you can probably gather. the fact that they're praying to God to give L rest just makes the actual scene of L's death so much more dramatic for me, and to actually seen it slowed + reverbed is pretty cool
