Just in case you want to celebrate "Summerween," June 22nd is your night to go a-haunting. (Let us know if you get any candy that night from surprised adults.;')
soos's last line "I ate a man alive today" was the fist big laugh I think I got from this show. Not saying other parts arnt funny it was my first "HAHAHAHAHA" of the show
Unsure if what I'm about to say is technically a spoiler or more of a "this makes you think about the show a little differently when you keep it in mind while watching" thing, but this is such a good episode because it really exemplifies the arcs Mabel and Dipper are intended to display throughout the show (which i admit the writers weren't super good at showing over the course of the 2 seasons, but they had their limitations) and the types of characters that they are. Mabel doesn't want to grow up, and Dipper wants to grow up too fast, and they find themselves at odds with each other because of this. It's also the perfect backdrop for Gravity Falls- a weird ghosts of fear street type location full of ghouls and goblins and weird people and events.
yeah but whats "the correct" speed to grow up? we cant all be the same, people are different. imo mabel comes off as someone who doesnt really care about what dipper finds important while dipper is frequently bending over backwards to keep her deluded and happy.
This episode was actually my first ever exposure to this show, I was like 6 or something and watching the “Halloween Hub” and I was TERRIFIED by this episode for like days, now cut to years later when I rewatch the show fully in 2018 and I’ve made it my entire personality since 😅
Your fits are always on point, but I have to say I’m extra lovin’ the blue “Lapis” look. Your hair is gorgeous! I think blue is definitely your color (amongst other ones too).
I've found you guys the day you dropped this vid, so i've been watching your Gravity Falls from ep1 and just now caught up!😆 Your reaction of the show is one of my favorite on youtube! You guys are so in sync with the show and notice a lot of details, especially love it when you recognised the voice actors.
I don't think Wendy was trying to be a dick when she said the whole "of course dipper isn't trick or treating that for little kids" she just 15 that age where you think your to cool for "kid" stuff and because dipper is her friend she thinks by association he's to cool for it too

"I ate a man alive tonight." That's one of Soos' funniest lines of all time
🤣🤣🤣🤣

sweet Summerween falls on a Saturday too. I better get moving on my pixie costume then
If only it could've been one day later, then I could've celebrated Summerween and my birthday together XD

Dipper's name is actually said in one of the books released by the show, but it's never said in the show itself.
It's Mason.
With such a terrible name, it's very understandable he'd rather be called Dipper lol.
Their parents clearly did it for the alliteration of "Mabel & Mason". Still, it could be worse… like a pair of twins we meet later on.
@@20000dinoWhat’s wrong with Mason?

15:18 i think there's an interview or the dvd commentary confirming that the trickster appearance IS inpired by No Face
Ooh awesome!
"This is literally the scariest monster thus far, though."
Me: ...
Whats scarier?
@@9TrixieTurner6 Is this your first time watching the show?
@@jaxcraft2848nah I’ve seen it before.
thinking about the episode i still can't watch because of how much it scared me (it wasn't this one)
@@9TrixieTurner6 Then you know what's coming. 😈
Just in time. Been seeing a bunch of Summerween edits on Tiktok.

Happy Summerween! Nice to see you in the spirit of the season, even in the preseason. 🍬
heh Robby "forgot' about the subtle thing **grins**

This was one of the more fun episodes.

3:00, 5:42. & 8:20: Stan being a menace

Wait, why are they trick or treating in the middle of summer? Lol
"Ant traumatizing"? You mean "And traumatizing" in the description.
Idk the sentient candy probably scared some of the ants in Gravity Falls
@@SputnikSpyglass 😆
yeah its hard to tell if an ant is traumatized... they wear the same expressions all the time.
Guys please react to Madoka Mágica ❤😊
Candy Corn isn’t that bad
