What's funny about Soos's mascot costume is that in his concept art, he drew himself wearing clothes under the suit. Soos legit had NO reason to do that in his tighty whities LMAO
I heard Alex Hirsh did that to troll S&P. Apparently the original proposal was a bear suit, but S&P thought it madef him a furry (they thought it was 'kinky'). They had no prob with Dipper half dressed as a wolf and Soo's question mark costume being revealing.
Which is wild, as a knitter. It takes me a week to make a baby sweater without any colorwork. Mabel's size with either intarsia or duplicate stitch embroidery would take me from a few weeks to a month per sweater. Mabel must knit at Shetland Grandma speed.
most people managed to be teenagers and do their jobs without bullying children. youre just making excuses for her because you like her as a character, but shes objectively a terrible employee and an even worse friend this episode.
Oh i wanna mention, after season 1 finale, there's a 364-day hiatus before season 2 started. During the hiatus they released shorts called 'Dipper's guide to the unexplained', 'Mabel's guide to life', 'Fixin' it with Soos', 'TV shorts', and 'Mabel's scrapbook'. They're not essential viewing, but if you plan to watch them, i'd recommend doing so before starting season 2. There are some 'nudge-nudge, wink-wink' nod to the mystery of the town in the shorts. Imo I think it's a better viewing experience, watching the shorts before season 2, but this is just a suggestion
the monster saying "I've become my father" kills me every time lol

Fun fact: Mabel makes knits new sweaters off-screen between each episode.
She's so iconic I love her

We need to remember that Wendy's a teenager and Stan never let her hang out with her friends during work. Of course she would take this opportunity.

@nullakjg767 if there were a character whose power was to just kill bill these people would still defend bill

You guys should watch the shorts after season 1! They're very short but very fun clips in between the two seasons.

Grunkle Stan doing the Stan wrong song was freaking hilarious. That's his punishment
🎵🎵🎵🕺🕺🕺🤣🤣🤣
Stan has an enormously hard time saying 'please'
this will be important later
That poor gremloblin, faced with such a nightmare. Therapy time!
I actually have read fanfics and stuff where Mabel supports her and her family with an online handmade sweater store.
YUP! A gremloblin! This town has everything! XD
The monster's fear part was funny to me
Yes loving these reactions
Cat! :D
16:15 Nadia is a cutie.
Mabel is Rainbow Capitalism this episode, unfortunately.
