I think they should just make the normal M3 better and stop doing Competition and CS models. It just makes too many models with no significant changes except the price that increases by a lot. Also I think the M3 actually looks good but the CS is too overstyled.

I know of quite a few BMW wheels that are ugly. On average I don't find most of their wheels to be great at all. The M3 wheels look good. The 693 wheels which are the standard 19s for the G01 X3 are particularly ugly, and the 734 from the X5 are pretty blah too. 753 or 757 from X7 aren't great either... I guess their sedan wheels are a lot better in general.
@@omnihein9322 This is the opposite of driving enthusiasm. Driving enthusiasm is about being engaged, being in touch and feeling what the car is doing. For example compare a Toyota Corolla and a Toyota Land Cruiser on a snowy road. With the Corolla you will be much more engaged because you will fight for traction, try to find the right gear and all that. In the Land Cruiser you just need to press the gas pedal and the amazing 4WD system and traction control make everything a walk in the park. Compare a car with mechanical throttle, hydraulic brakes and steering with new cars where the steering wheel isn't even connected to the wheels.
@@imnotusingmyrealname4566 again, it's clear that you haven't driven a bad manual if that is what you say. And where I am from the Land Cruiser is a manual pick up and it doesn't snow. The M3 has a mushy feeling manual that does not make losing the convenience of the auto worth it. What that guy/gal was saying was that he/she would take the worst manual over the best auto. He/she wouldn't even be able to shift the thing then and would still pick it over the best Automatic. That's huge fanboyism and if you agree with that, you are one too. I can drive both, I'm both a car enthusiast and a fairly normal person (for the most part), and I rather have an exceptionally good Automatic transmission that is reasonably fun, I can do my daily-ing in, and do the occasional track day in, above a mushy feeling manual that is only a bit more engaging and worsens everything else, any day of the week, twice on Monday's on my way to work through the traffic jams.
The M3 Comp Package with xDrive is already excessively expensive, and the M3CS is only 75lbs lighter and doesn't appear to be as unique as the M4 CSL. Some reviews have suggested that even the M4 CSL is unnecessary and have speculated that the M4 xDrive with the same Cup 2 tires could perform equally if not similarly.
To me, BMW didn't need to make the M3 CS. Here's my reason: The M4 CSL was good as it is. There wasn't the need for a CS, since the CSL kind of solidified itself in that sector, filling the gap for both the M3/M4. The M3 CS to me, is a * less * heavy, slightly more powerful BMW M3, with the front end of the M4 CSL, and the interior dashboard layout of iDrive 8 that I find myself disliking, compared to older generations, alongside what looks like the smaller version of the M5 CS' front seats. For what the M3 CS is, the pricing of $119,695 is in no way, shape or form justifiable for what it is. But since I'm broke enough to not buy this car, all I can do, is stare from a distance, and make my own consensus of certain things.
Totally unnecessary model, but because of the ‘great acceptance’ they will make a CSL or any other sportier version, which just makes it meh in the end. I like the rims though, in bronze color would seem to be inspired by the ‘snowflake’ pattern of the 70’s Trans Ams.
It would be very cool if you made a video why the adro.inc front looks so good. Would be gteat to understand the design differents the tuning company made.
Does the CS dilute the lineup or does it deserve to exist? I guess the market will let us know a couple of years from now.
It still looks ugly! Like all the other G-Models...

The one thing that’s been consistent on all BMWs is the wheel design.. they always get it right

BMW's wheel designs are very good, especially in the bronze color.
If I had the money I would still go for the base M3 with the 6-speed manual. The ultimate BMW, the 3.0 CSL, has a manual too.
The manuals in these cars suck. Automatic is way better and way more fun. The manual feels like shit
@@gotworc Ide rather have the worst feeling manual shifter over the best feeling automatic ANY DAY OF THE WEEK.
@@fortheloveofnoise you clearly haven't driven a bad manual then.

the adro kit looks brilliant, the new grille design has always had the potential. it's just that everything around the grille drags it down.
It’s a shame they botched the front end of this car because the rear looks incredible.
It’s still so ugly, I don’t know how you could focus on anything else. Shame they didn’t put the homage grill on the vehicle
Meanwhile I think it looks beautiful
Agree its really ugly!
You should do a video M5 vs E63 and which one would you buy. It would be intresting.
I think it would be interesting to see one of your comparison videos between Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA/GTAm VS BMW M3 CS
6:25 the competition and the cs have the same exact display, your just comparing an old model all 2023 3 series and m3s have that screen

Good point tbh
Isn't the M4 CSL $150k?
I would’ve liked to see a CSL style M3 taillights with those 3D lines honestly and I hope someone makes some

The normal m3 has the same gauges as the cs. Its because your showing a 2021/22 comp m3. The 2023 ones has the new gauges
I'd go for a 2021 Comp with the old gauges
I was looking for this comment lol
100k by the end of this year
i think they said its limited to 1 year production instead of an exact number
CS is more deserving than CSL, not as lightweight but with four wheel drive system makes it better and more useable
Fucking love anything 3 Series.. lol. Such an amazing car.
It wouldve been cool if they experimented with some kind of hybrid in an m car but they keep it real - what i respect ❤️🔥
