- The Outsunny Pop-Up Tent Cot. Elijah owns one ane he got to try it out for an over-nighter in the great outdoors.
It got down to 43°F (6°C) Saturday night. And that's a good night to test out your new digs.
Love to see grandpa, son and grandson working together on the tent erection. Great video.
Nice review Elijah. Great setup and the test went well once you got warm. I saw something similar being used by some goat hunters way up in the mountains and they said they liked how if it rained they had nothing to worry about.
Nature Calls Great feedback!
Thanks for the info.
Elijah is amazing and love how you guys are with him. I would like to see him work up to almost a solo setup or telling (instructing) the crew in setting it up. Namaste. ❤️🙏🏼🇨🇦
OK I watch this video to learn how to put the tent part on and the piece that I needed to see you do and you stood right in the way of putting the little roof gadget in the And the poles together so I didn’t get to see what it look like or what you were actually doing
Looks like all were having fun today
Thats a pretty cool setup for sure
Turtle Bushcraft Yeah, it is nice for people who aren't too tall.
Ty.
Looks like it would work well for kids and people that are vertically challenged....and nice review Elijah
Shawn Slaton Shawn, I am 6' tall. When I laid in it I had the one inch from my feet to the tent and one inch from my head to the tent. That was without a pillow. 5'9" would probably do fine in it. But you would have to stow your gear under it. Look for the review of the Cot Tent Sean uses. It will be posted in a few days.
Cool cot tent Elijah!
MI Timberwookie He says "Thanks".
Elijah's getting tall! Need to put a brick on his head. ;)
Nice job Elijah. :)
MotherOfManyHorses We'll have to tell him that. ;)
Great size for anyone under 6 feet tall. As its exactly 6'2" end to end.
Sean Wells Yepp, but for kids it is very roomy.
I had a similar problem with a cot years ago
the kampright looks like a stronger more secure canvass; and this setup looks cumbersome compared to the camp rite. on that pad anybody would get a good night's sleep :)
It (The Kamprite) is absolutely better product!
Quick question about the tent. I can't seem to find any info on the dimensions of everything packed up. I'm going on a 4 day kayaking/camping trip and I have a good 3-4 feet of clearance in the front of the kayak on the floor for my 90L backpack. So what is the longest part? If I put everything in my 90L backpack I just want to know if it will fit on the floor of the kayak. I'm guessing the longest individual part in the cot folded up. I'm guessing it's somewhere around 3-4ft. Got any measurements? If it's small enough packed up I would just use the pack that it comes in...
Just wondering why are you carrying a gun to put together a tent cot ?
+Nosferatu harris The term E.D.C. lays out that there are items you carry every day, every single day.
The gun is one such item. There is also EDC Gear, stuff you carry when camping. Such as an ax, a machete, a tent, or a hammock. That is every day gear, you take it when you go out to the woods. The gun is EVERY DAY CARRIED. It is there, so the weight is not even noticed.
Better question would be is how many inches from the cot to the top of the zipper...I'm hoping 36"
Sean measured it, and it is 36".
+SpiritofWildWings wonderfull
Nice job!!! can an 5'10" adult male sit at the entrance without touching his head on the fly?
We'll set it up and get back with you on that one.
+SpiritofWildWings thanks...but I think I'm sold regardless...thanks for the video
Thanks. We will be shooting a video soon showing three different styles of cot tents.
Excellent video but too much work to set it all up
pick up trash in backround, other than that good
I do not think that tent should be called pop up
I would agree with that.
