What a brilliant 'Wildlings' episode that was... pretty much a year in the making too! I bet your Dad and his engineering skills were the main inspiration for buying Minke in the first place! Without his experience, support and initial encouragement her 'recommissioning' would have been unimaginable Mark! So, so good to see your family all pulling together to help you guys achieve your dreams... you both do deserve it too of course! Couldn't have happened to a nicer more determined and secure partnership than yours! 'Life affirming'!
Your unique and authentic 'rags to riches' come 'landlubber to seadogs' sailing epic will be an inspiration in any/all sailing communities, online or otherwise for many years to come... much thanks again for sharing!

19:50 Looks like you have to reorganize the electrical system on your boat, maybe you can use a spiral plastic conduit to wrap the cables according to their class and function so that tracking/trouble shooting them will be easier and to avoid fires like the one on the next boat that caught fire.
It's sad that your parents are back in their city....but life must go on....

After that comes Nadiyana who keeps the whole enterprise afloat, and finally Mark, who shows how not knowing what to do can be made into a science!

I run the crank case breather through a oil fumes condenser made from soap-free stainless steel fine ribbon scouring pads packed in a PBC or stainless metal tube, the fumes are led into the inlet manifold AFTER the air cleaner, and the condensate oil is collected and fed into the rocker cover. Similar system to that used on large ships but miniaturised.

So happy to see that engine back in and working again! Yay. I'm sure it cost a lot, but money well spent. As for the oil gauge, I went through a series of electric senders that matched the gauge I bought. Oil pressure always read about 8 psi at idle. I installed a mechanical gauge and it read normally. I finally gave up on that electric oil pressure gauge and kept the mechanical one instead. You have some great parents. Make sure you always let them know how much you appreciate them.

See the boat catch fire brought back bad memories for me as my boat coughs fire last year due to a pair of Walky talkies catching fire on my boat. Long store. But I have rebuilt 2nd wind now and she is sailing again. So hopefully the other boat can be saved. Keep up the great edits guys. Hope to see you in an anchorage some where warm far winds John

Your Mom and Dad are such a great help. You very blessed with them. Fantastic work you guys and Girls!
Engine looks great. Definitely needs a oil pressure gauge for added peace of mind. I fit that to all my vehicles.
