Birgit: I love the Samplers in this video, so beautiful, I am not a knitter maybe someday, oh my goodness the inspirations books is amazing, your grandmother was adorable, love your pillows, oh my gosh the elephant is lovely. Your ornaments are so sweet, she is lovely, the rick rack is interesting for an added trim, I would never use hot glue on a stitched project, amazing samplers. thank-you for sharing.

Found the Mississippi quilts book on Amazon. I’m originally from Vicksburg so it hits home. I like that Eudora Welty is featured. (Saw her once in the grocery store MANY years ago.)
Birgit it was lovely seeing your family treasures, needleart books and stunning samplers. I noticed several comments where viewers had a difficult time hearing you. I enjoy watching on my iPad, and when the video started the sound was quite low, but after increasing the volume I heard you perfectly. It is nice to know you are now settled and have started a garden, literally putting down roots in your new location.
I am glad you are back, I had no trouble hearing you. I love the behind the scenes look at these old samplers. The colors on Betty are fantastic, and her border. I think you could pry that hot glue edge off of the wood on the first one, hot glue is kind of pliable, even though you might not get it off the linen. Terrible that someone did that.
How nice to see you back, Birgit! Having moved late last year, I know the difficulties of unpacking and settling in! Your new acquisitions are treasures! ( I just hope you're up to date on your tetanus vaccine watching you pull put those old nails!) may I ask...do you use Mac Stitch to chart them? I'm getting reading to chart the German/Austrian marking sampler I emailed you about earlier this year. I do have that program, but am wondering, since you often chart, if you think that's best or do you recommend another program. Thanks so much and I look forward to your next Flosstube! Hugs, Candace

Love your videos but you need a better microphone. I had to turn the sound up super high to hear you. Update; the sound was much better once you had the camera overhead.
