I found Ras Al Ghul quite massive impact on Bruce's life. I mean obviously he's a in many ways a father figure, as well as a mentor

Also I forgot to mention, like the relationship between the Batman and the Joker, if it weren't for Ras, Batman would not come to be.

While Joker is Batman’s archenemy, Ra’s makes a perfect respectable nemesis, similar to Charles Xavier and Magneto.

If Ras Al Ghul and Frank Castle had met, I’d be very intrigued

Well I'm a huge punisher fan but I don't think Ras will like him do to the fact punisher use guns and Bane was too extreme for The league of shadows. Bane is similar to Punisher. Also punisher use guns the league of shadows didn't use guns until Bane took over.

Henry Duccard, (Ra's), had I think noble intentions, that had become misguided. What he was really trying to do was eliminate human imperfection, which is impossible because everyone is flawed.
And as far as the him, or maybe rather the League Of Shadows being responsible for the circumstances that brought about Thomas and Martha Wayne's deaths, since it isn't revealed if he was a member at the time or not, the League showed it was no better than the people it fought against, and I think the League played on Ra's desire for revenge.
To be truly good, you cannot knowingly contribute injustice or circumstances that cause further pain and suffering, otherwise you have no moral high-ground on which to stand, yet the League did such.
I have a feeling that Henry, (Ra's), was a man of questionable moral character, given he was mercenary beforehand, and the League was able to exploit his flaws and whatnot and turned him into someone truly horrifc... similar to as the Joker said to Batman toward the end of The Dark Knight, when speaking of how he corrupted Harvey Dent:
"I took Gothom's White Knight, and brought him down to our level. It wasn't difficult. Madness, as you know, is like gravity, all it takes is a little push."

That's a neat take on Ra's keep up the good work, I'll be around to see what else you come up with, but also hope you get to different kind of Villains like Jinx, Gorr, etc...

He played a *FANTASTIC RAS* in Batman TAS that is only matched by Liam Neeson's performance of bringing Ras Al Ghul to life imo

I doubt Ras Al Ghul felt too guilty about being swapped out for his wife. He never returned to the pit until Talia went to get him. Talia's mother managed to live for the next 5 or 6 years before she was brutally murder. In that time Ras would've likely built up some connections that could've led him back to the pit. Ras chose not to return to the pit. But given that a physical reminder, Talia, of his past was in front of him, it forced him to return. Granted, one could argue that perhaps he thought his wife & child were possibly dead. But I'm not buying that. He still could've checked

he wasn't insane Ra's no he was deeply hurting because of the wickedness that those men did to his wife !!!!! how would you have felt had it happen to one of your loved one's huh? so no Ra's , like Joker and Bane they were not insane they were hurting men whose life was ripped apart by other men/by other people. !! that doesn't make Ra's or bane or Joker insane.

Isn’t it possible tho that Batman also perpetuates the cycle of violence he claims to fight??
