James has been about a lot longer than that mate. Have a read of some 90's mags and he or JHS are mentioned in quite a few of them. I met him at a track day way back when and all thats changed is he went grey and got fatter. Just like me.

@@paulwood7798 It was a brilliant time in the biking world. I feel genuinely sorry for people who missed it. I remember when the first Fireblade came out and it caused a massive stir. Back then the average car was an 80-90hp Sierra/Cavalier so a 185kg (dry-granted) bike that could make over 130hp with the usual bolt ons was like something from another planet. It also felt like something special.
Now the bikes are much better but a lot of them have lost that special feeling. Things like the ZX-9R, 916, R1 and so on all had their little traits which made them very different to ride. These days even though there are loads of different engines and makers they all have a certain sheen which seems to numb down their real character. I wouldn't go as far as to say they're boring but they do feel very generic in the way they behave. Its almost as though someone came up with limits for how fast the front can come up or how much it can try to tank slap.
I admit it could well be rose tinted goggles but for me there are very few new bikes which make me feel special (1290R, Rocket, RSV4-11) where as back then you could get on most big bikes and they would give you the buzz.

James is a fountain of knowledge and is always willing to give his best advice... James and Will have built me an engine that missed 2nd in Thundersport this year by a point, all done without splitting the cases... James is how you hope everyone in the motorcycle business to be, unfortunately the vast majority of bike shops are just chasing money..

The most famous and iconic motorbike of all time is the one and only Suzuki Hayabusa and the next best thing that beat the top speed of the Busa ..zx14 or the ZZR14. Chris could find a 2006-2008 first series Kawasaki as he likes these bikes and Fagan could find a 2nd generation, Busa. The views would go through the roof with these to bikes and you could settle the score once and for all which overall after a 3-4 day test is the best bike
