@J T 1 There can be a risk of a large puppy playing a bit too rough for a child or small cat and there is also the possibility of a scared cat lashing out. This is rare, however, and far more likely to happen when the animals are just meeting and don't know their strength. This would be a rare accident, but it can happen, just like how kids can accidentally hurt each other and you seldom have a situation where a kid out-masses another kid by an order of magnitude.

I scored this 110-105 Cat... rounds 1 to 3 were definitely in the favor of the reigning Canine champion but he couldn’t keep up with the stamina and flexibility of his feline opponent who cleverly tired out his enemy before finally spreading layer upon layer of damage on the German fighter. This is why we love this sport, guys... this is what makes this sport great. New Cattamweight champion!

German Shepherds are very protective. If you are family, they are gentle as can be, but they will view outsiders with suspicion.
